Very high fees and also taking extra fees for campus placements. They don't provide free soft skills lessons.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum and exam structure is relevant and research driven. It upto the date and relevant to the current industrial scenario. Because of updated syllabus it helped in making students a professionals. Every year industrial visits were conducted.
Placement Experience
No internships were offered. Very few IT companies visited for final placements. Accenture, Capgemini and Cognizant were major recruiters. Tentative percentage of students placed were around 40% only. Extra soft skills classes used to conduct for the placement session.
College Events
Sinhgad Karandak is like a festival for Sinhgad Institutes. Just like Events in all other colleges. Every college student with valid college ID are most welcome to attend the event. You just need to register for it. Talking about SSC it is a committee for Sinhgad students to benefit from various other colleges events.They are give a different stand at the concert, but there is ample space for other people also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Program fee annually was around 90,000 and mode of payment was via card, cash or dd. Yes there was transparency in the fee-breakdown. Additional fees included library fees and identity card fees. Canteen was not free you have to pay and have food. Other than this no other expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I haven't opted for any education loan. Scholarships were offered to backward caste. Various scholarship schemes are available for each backward caste students. One has to check online for eligibility criteria and procedure to apply for the same.
Campus Life
College is really good, professors are knowledgeable and very helping. yes they are strict in case of attendance, unit tests and submissions, internal marks. but that's what is engineering all about. Infrastructure is very good. Library have all books of every stream.
Alumni/Alumna
Very less experience with college seniors and alumni as many opted for higher education. So in job alumni doesn't helps you here.
Admission
You will get admission according to your merit list.Got admission through cap rounds held by dte. Admission process will start after results are out. You will receive notifications regarding admission process dates. It will be in between June to August month.
Faculty
Number of lectures held every day was around 5-6 and one practical of two hours. Average age of faculty was around 40 years. Many hod's were expertise in their respective department. Some lectures hold relevant industry experience in the subject they were teaching.
