Remarks

College was an average private enginnering college where I got to make some good friends. But the quality of education was mediocre. But it's true that with the degree I got from my college I got to work in the MNCs currently.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum prepared for the campus placements and also for the external industry placements. It was affiliated to WBUT. I. e. it followed the wbut curriculum. The course structure was good and meant to cover all the engineering concepts. exam was a bit tough.

Placement Experience

3

Placement was below average. only company which comes as a bulk recruiter was TCS. Many fake companies came and other low level startups came for the recruitment.

College Events

4

There was a cultural fest called scimentek where we were given chance to perform like dancing singing etc. Many celebrities were invited for the event. We used to go in the maket to some brands for sponsorship. The college management also used to provide funds for the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was expensive compared to the infrastructure and quality of education. But since we had to pay after every semester, so it was affordable. Mode of payment were cash, DD, Check, online transfer, etc. The college did provided the receipt for the fee where the components were mentioned clearly.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any education loan or any scholarships. I used to pay the fee after every semester.

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio in computer science was 1:1. Campus Life was not so boring as I got bunch of good friends there to hang out. There was a committee NEN which used to organise several events like robotics machine learning, WB hosting type of events occasionally.

Hostel Facilities

3

No. I stayed with my grandparents nearby. I was a day scholar and used to commute by my own vehicle or public transport. Hostel was below average and the food was also average. We were not allowed to go into the hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

I didn't git to interact wih any alumni. But there used to be alumni meet every year. they used to address the faculty.

Admission

Aieee rank. I got a rank around 150000 in aieee. I got into the counselling throught he aieee state quota. Where I got to chose from the available colleges according to my rank. there I chose DIATM. And paid the token amount for reserving my seat in the college.

Faculty

3.5

7 out of 10. They faculty was not stable. They kept on changing every 2-3 months. So they didn't had much hold of the subjects. But they tries to give their best while teaching and they were very cooperative in clearing the doubts at times. They motivated us to go for higher education.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
