At UEM, knowledge is not kept limited to facts and figures but it is imparted as a source that inspires innovation.

Our college gives a totally industry centric curriculum. Being an autonomous body our college decides its own syllabus for engineering students keeping in touch of the AICTE aprovals. We have 2 mid term exam and one semester exam for a single semester. Everyday in our college, during the lab classes we are presented in a totally industry like environments be it mechanical workshop or electronics lab,everywhere there is extra chunks of atmospheres that can be related in mind with the exact field of work for the students in future. A lot of industries like TCS,WIPRO, AMAZON, COGNIGENT, FLIPKART visited our campus for seeking meritorious students.

List of the companies that visited our college: Amazon Wipro Tcs Cognigent Infosys Deloitte HCL etc. In every lectures we are supposed to be habing an interactive session with our faculty on the internships in kolkata and abroad whereas our college has its own system to provide internships. Our college has its placement classes for 8 hours (i.e. 4 lectures)every week, which is actually too much helpful for all the students with high potential for seeking high end jobs.Also there are exams on it in the final semester exams.

Ureckon-tech fest Ecstasia-cultural fest Fresher's party at September Marathon-running Cyclothone-cycling. Every year our college sees huge participations in these events from inside and outside the college both and we use to plunge in amusement and technology for those 3-4 day long events keeping smile in our face with a lot of extravaganza!

It is feasible than anyother self financed college in West Bengal. For b.tech it is around 5 lac for the 4 year course. There is no admission security charge, opting students can make their admission in a one time basis. Hence our college also provides a transparent fee structure for the newbies and the studying students both.

The college offer scholarship opportunities during the admission.those who got 80% in the 12th boards exms,they get 5% relaxation in the tuition fee. For 90% marks in 12th boards- 10%relaxation For 95% marks in 12th boards- 20% relaxation.

There are hostels attached with our college. But i go from my home with some extra savings in my pocket, keeping in mind my financial situation.there are 2 share and 3 sharing hostel rooms separately for boys and girls. Average rent is 5-6k per month including fooding for 3 times a day.

They are too much helpful.in most of the cases they organize workshops in various premises and they roam every class to make us aware of all the events going on and help us with sharing online links and whatsapp connections for the better understanding of the events.

I have got admission in this college by giving an entrance exam called 'IEMJEE' which was conducted in May 2019. After the exam there's a merit list for qualified students and then they are called for admission in its own office which is IEM GURUKUL campus or may be the UEM college premises office. I have opted for Btech in CSE in this college. I have searched a lot of govt and private colleges in the city kolkata,as i wanted my college not so far from my home (howrah). Among lots of collges in kolkata i have choosen this college keeping in mind its best placement scenarios.

I have never counted that number. Mostly lecturers are around 30 in age. Every department has an experienced H.O.D. to guide us throughout the entire syllabus of a semester. The faculties are highly renowned for their industry related knowledge.They are actually student friendly with a lot of high qualifications. I personally love all the aptitude teachers wondering about their extreme knowledge and grip in current affairs.
