Remarks

The management has worked very hard to maintain the reputation if the college and they have been successful in it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Yes the curriculum is absolutely relevant and there is no extra burden put on the students. The students have also got the freedom to select the subject of their choice and proper guidance is also provided. The college strictly does not believe in pressurizing students.

Placement Experience

0.5

No internship is provided. The college does not provide internship to any student as it is a regular commerce college.

College Events

4

Freshers Day and Aakarshan are widely celebrated. Akarshan has been the talk among various colleges and every year quite a few celebrities are seen attending the fest. The team literally puts in their heart and soul behind the fest. And truly it will never disappoint.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. They accept fees through A DD. No additional fees needs to be paid. Yes it does provide a breakdown of the fees Charged. The college charges fees that are affordable for all. No extra burden no extra charges are demanded at any point from college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i did not opt for any loan. The fees was feasible to be paid without a loan. The college does not provide scholarship

Campus Life

3.5

The campus rules are very strict. The gender ratio is almost 50:50. Sports functions are held. Celebrities attend our college for movie promotion as well. All in all a fun college. Once admission secured you won't be disappointed. The blacklist system is also quite transparent.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No. Since it is a regular commerce college it does not have hostel facilities. The college curriculum is pretty small and hence it does not feel the need to provide any hostel services as Students attending college come from the vicinity

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors have been helpful. Ragging is banned in the college. Any one found breaking rules are suspended.

Admission

I got it through Quota. The cut off list is a little high so not everyone can secure admission in the college. The first list cut off percent is 93. The second list is around 88 and third is 79. But yes through quota one does have a chance to secure admission in the college.

Faculty

4

Quite experienced. They take a lot of effort to conduct each class flawlessly and no errors are committed. They teachers are quite flexible and have a deep understanding for the subject. No teacher is irrational in any manner and all have worked pretty hard.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
