College Review of NIT ROURKELA

National Institute of Technology Rourkela is ranked 2nd when I have joined the College back in 2019. The college offers various courses. The college professors are highly qualified and the class is digitally equipped. The class timings are designed perfectly for a student. The college is eco-friendly. You can find greenery throughout the campus. Apart from courses, first-year students are encouraged to join NCC or NS, or PE for personality development. All sports and games are encouraged in college. Inter-NIT sports are also held. Contains various fields like cricket field football ground basketball badminton tennis swimming. The college contains fests and some garden feasts and you'll enjoy your time in college. The temperature lies in extremes like too cold in winter and hot in summer. All in all, college is a nice place for any engineer.

All the faculty are highly qualified and highly experienced. In each, we have mid-semester and end-semester. The papers are designed to good standards. Standard questions are asked and some moderately easy questions are also asked. A student can qualify for the exam if he/she puts in basic effort every day.

The companies which recruit on-campus give internships to students and there are both on and off-campus internships

The placement cell is very good. Various companies recruit our college graduates but I'm not much aware of it as I'm a second-year student at present. As per my seniors saying the average package will be around 6lpa and max 25+lpa.

The overall fee for each semester is roughly between 95000-101000 including hostel and mess based on circumstances. Scholarships are available for students. I am not eligible for a scholarship as my father is a government employee. So I am not much aware of scholarships.

There are fests each semester. Fests are conducted in the month of November and February usually. You can enjoy every fest and very big celebrities are invited to the fests and There are tech competitions and fun games you can participate in. There are concerts at fests which you'll definitely enjoy. As per my knowledge, there are around 25-30 clubs in college that encourage students to learn coding or car design and music dance, and many more. The dream life of a student comes true at this college. Students are encouraged to get into different games and sports clubs like cricket football basketball badminton volleyball track and field chess swimming etc. There is a well-established and well-equipped Central library which contains many books.

The food quality is good. But there are some hostels in which the rooms are less spacious. But most of the hostel rooms are spacious. The hostels are hygienic.
