University is good with Ecofriendly campus, Student friendly Green Campus on foothills of western ghats from Manchester of South India

Course curriculum is standard and updated by every year with curriculum meeting held involving in campus using external Professors, renowned scientists. Both internal exam and semester exams are conducted by paper mode and online mode. Teaching is based on research with cutting edge technology. The teaching is synced with lab and industrial exposures. So we gain both theoretical and practical knowledge. University takes students to core industrial visit in various cities. Hence it produces better humans in society, best professional in workplace.

Placement is quite good. The companies arriving to the university for interviewing students are standard renowned companies and mostly department core companies. The placement percentage every year is above 90%.

Evogen is the national conference conducted by Biotechnology department every year. Mindcraft is the university technical and cultural event conducted every year. KEMT is the south India level sports event conducted every year including various college students

Expensive fee structure. Fee payment is online now before by cash. Now 12 lakhs for all 4 years of btech program including tuition fees, hostel fees, mess fees, exam fees. Yes the College provides transparency in fee. No need to pay donation or extra fee to get admitted or to secure the course but the regular fee they ask is itself high. Sports fee they are asking PhD research Scholar which is not tolerable

Yes the university offers scholarship but to very less student who score high in semester exams. Students tuition fees will be reduced based on scholarship amount.

It is Christian Minority Institution. Racism is not encouraged here. Ragging is strictly prohibited. Biotech Dept has more girl students whereas mechanical engineering department has more boy students. Almost university has equal boys and girls student ratio. Different sports are conducted with vast sports ground.

Hostel facilities are absolutely good. Wifi facility, drinking water purifiers are available every floor. Gym facility, shops, saloon, beauty parlors are available. Rooms are shared and even single seater rooms are also available but fee is high. PG students are offered both single seater rooms and shared rooms

Alumni meeting is conducted with alumnies of different batches. Hence current student community gets chance to mingle, interact and gain knowledge from their seniors.

I wrote Karunya entrance exam. I scored good marks and along with 12th std public exam mark counseling waa conducted and I selected the course on merit. I basically like biology. Moreover I tried to get mbbs seat but since I my cut off was not matching for the required cutoff I opted Biotechnology in karunya Institute of Technology and science coimbatore. The department had renowned professors with more PhD holders along with advanced and well equipped laboratory facilities made me to choose the Biotechnology course in the department. Moreover the campus is Ecofriendly, Student friendly, Green Campus on foothills of western ghats from Manchester of South India.

Students can access faculty directly, through phone and email. Almost every faculties are PhD holders. Every subject is taught 4 hours per week for a semester. Faculty will clearly explain the stuff with example. Video lecture, PPT lecture, chalk and board, pedagogy methodology of teaching followed.
