Will it be wise to join a B.Tech program in biotechnology at Karunya University?

As one of my friends studied B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Karunya University, I might not be able to tell you much about biotechnology, but can provide a general overview of the institute. The university is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and is surrounded by a lush green environment. The university gives an option of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) which is a very good system to bring out individual talents. Also, you will get lots of free time which you can use for pursuing your interests and hobbies. The infrastructure is also quite good and there are a few good professors who are highly experienced. Placements are also good. CSE students received good job roles. But the Biotechnology placements may differ. If you choose to become a residential student, you will get even more time. I had paid almost 1,20,000 every semester for both my course and hostel. I had a scholarship of 20,000 every semester as I had maintained my 12th percentage throughout college. NRI students have to pay higher fees comparitiviely and the college gives you scholarships ig yoour cgpa is great. Scholarships are purely academic based.

My college Life: The Good, The Bad and The Real

One of the major concerns I had during my time at college was the high fee structure, especially under the management quota.
At 4,00,000 lakhs per year, the overall financial burden was quite significant, and unfortunately, there ere no internal scholarship schemes or financial aid options
For students coming from middle class or self financed backgrounds, this can be very challenging

I am enrolled under the management quota and the yearly fee for my course is aroung 4,00,000. This amount remains consistent across all four years of the program, with no significant increase during the course duration. The Rs: 4,00,000 yearly fee includes: 1. Tuition fees 2. Lab and development fees 3. Excluding admission and registration charges(first year only) 4. Also excluding other compulsory charges such as exam fees, library fees etc... There is also a one time caution deposit included in the first year payment, which is refundable upon course completion, subject to clearance of dues. I have not availed any scholarships or financial aid, and i have been self-financing my education throughout the duration of the program.

Karunya University: Insight from the perspective of an Undergraduate

Admission fee of Rs 10000 and the tuition fees depend on the field of study chosen. The tuition fee for four years of Btech programme is around Rs 11,72,000 without any scholarship. There are merit scholarship, KEE scholarships available for students. Rs 1,20,000 per year for students with 95% in PCM/PCB Rs 60,000 per year for students with 90% in PCM/PCB and Rs. 40,000 per year for students with 80% in PCM/PCB

The year wise fee is around 95000 excluding scholarship amount of 20,000. different range of scholarships are available for students based on differnt factors, eligible students can avail of it. The fee structure differs with courses.

Karunya life

I paid around 90,000 rupees per semester as tuition fee and my hostel fee was rounded up to 30,000 rupees that rounds up to 1,80,000 per annum for tuition fee alone there was an extra amoount that needed to paid for semester exams and I was offered a scholrship fee in my 1st year of college where i paid around 50,000 rupees The fee might differ with NRI students.

Honest Review of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore.

The tuition fees and accommodation fees for Karunya as a deemed University is high compared to other deemed Universities. It is quite not affordable unless you're parents are rich enough to pay the fees.

My year of admission at karunya Institute of technology and sciences is 2021. During that time, the admission and provisional fees was 50,000. Tuition fee for biotechnology was 89,250 per semester. Due to my 75%+ in 12th grade, I got a reduction of 20,000 in my first year of the 4 year course. The hostel accomodations were 14,500 for a four seater room, 22,500 for a double seater room and, 26,500 for a single seater room per semester respectively. AC Other than scholarships provided by my university, government scholarships for students from government aided schools, female students from Tamil Nadu Government aided schools and parent's annual income of less than 2,00,000 are provided.

My Life in Karunya

The fees was 89250 per semester for all the students. Scholarships were provided to students who met the eligibility criteria. I was mostly based on the percentage scored in 12th grade. Students were all charged the same irrespective of their category. Semester fees included almost all the charges.

Karunya Institute a Chirstian haven for those students who believe.

The complete course fee wasn't mentioned, but per year it was 3 lakhs. The rest of the details is avaiable on their website. Some students get Merit scholarships when they excel well in thier studies from 85 thousand upto 3 lakh. And there are scholarships for backward castes as well.

Karunya and Me.

Scholarships are available to both boys and girls, where girls have an advantage. You can get a scholarship with 80% in PCB for boys and 60% in PCB for girls. The scholarship can be carried over to the next years by maintaining a good cgpa and attendance.
