The college of my dreams

Our administration is strictly governed centrally by the NIT Senate and the visitor of our college is the honourable President of India himself. Our director is a very learned and organised man, he handles our college very efficiently.

In the first year, our college teaches all disciplines of engineering making us into successful engineers, we have assignments one mid term exam, one End term examination. Our course curriculum is very well laid out and will successfully transform us professionally.

Our college has very good placement record, our highest package is 40lacs and average package is 8lacs, L&T, Siemens, etc. Visit our campus for civil engineering. Our college has a training and placement cell that trains and grooms all students to prepare for placement, they regularly conduct programmes and training.

We have one technical fest called Sphinx and cultural fest called blitzschlag and one literature fest and management fest conducted by Department of Management Studies. They all have very big funding especially Blitzschlag where we get EDM nights hosted by Sunburn and this time we had a rap performance funded by redbull.

Our college charges about 70 thousand per semester and hostel fees is paid extra which is about 32 thousand, our whole fees is totally transparent and no cash is accepted to ensure transparency, our college comes directly under MHRD as it is an Institution of national importance. The fee breakdown is available in the challan generated on our ERP.

The college offers scholarship for minorities and need based or merit cum need based scholarships, we have 3 banks inside our campus that offer scholarship in a free and fair manner.

We have a 1:7 gender ratio in our college, there are many workshops and certifications regularly conducted inside our college. Our college has cells to address any sort of wrong doing against anybody in the basis of religion or any other criteria. We have about 14 cultural societies in our college.

All our seniors are very helpful and help us with all our queries related to curriculum and our alumni network is very active on LinkedIn and it alumni chapters are spread all across the globe, or call gives an alumni card too.

The admission process is done in a transparent manner with the aid from a centralised body called JoSAA, the same body grants admission to NITs, IITs and IIITs. JEE main marks are taken into consideration for admission and there is no management quota. The procedure takes place in the months of June and July.

All our faculty members are very well qualified, and hold higher degrees from foreign colleges and IITs and NITs and our humanities department has members from Christ college and other prestigious colleges. They all are very helpful and very balanced humans. We have around 30 people in our department. Their average age would be around 49 years.
