Remarks

Everything is up to the mark except the attendance and detention criteria. There are really strict detention criteria's and at least 70 to 80 students are detained on average per sem depending on attendance and disciplinary issues, which I think must be relaxed a Little.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am pursuing B.E. in Instrumentation and control discipline. I think this is a very well subtly and well versed course, consisting of all the goods and practicalities from CS and ECE. Our course structure is depended on CBCS system, which lays a semester over 100 points criteria including mid semester, end semester, practical, internal and research examinations. This system is a precise equilibrium between hectic and a chilled out timetable.

Placement Experience

5

Yes our college offers on campus placements and internships. But as of now (till 2nd year) I have been in none, so all I know is all whispers in the corridor from seniors. For internships we usually fetch a good stipend for ex: in the last placement season on of my senior friend got Internship in samsung R&D with a stipend of 75k per month all inclusive, according to me this is one of the highest stipends offered for an UG. For placement, at least 90% of the students get placed well in time with an average offer ranging from 7-8LPA to 24-25LPA.

College Events

4.5

There are majorly two fest along with other minor society specific events held in our college. One in MOKSHA - The Annual Cultural Fest ( One of the biggest fest in India after IITD and IIT-Bombay), Innovision&Resonance - The TechFest (Best Tech fest in NCR). These fests usually are held for 2-3 days and counts an average footfall of over 80k students/ participants. There are over 50 events ranging from all genre and field to accomodate enormous participation. Apart from these we host various minor society specifc fests such as colloqium (debating soc), aspire (enactus-entrepreneur), consilium (FES finance and economic), Crescendo eve (Music soc), and various other from Mirage, Capella (dance soc), Ashwamedh (dramatic soc) etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure for our college lies in Moderate phase - in between the purely central govt colleges and private college fee structure. On an Average our college charges 7-8 lac(dependin upon your course discipline) for a 4 year btech course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here in our college, scholarship/loan facilities are majorly available for reserved categories and economically weaker section students. I dont have much information about them. Apart from this, there is one Ramanujan named scholarship program which is for Overall mathematics topper from the college.

Campus Life

4.5

For the extracurriculars, our college follows the general DU trend. We have almost every society in our college that one would find in DU, regarding workshops, there is alteast one workshop per week hosted in our college in working days for various fields. There is well justified student diversity in our college as well (regardless of 80% reservation for delhi domicile), And for gender ratio there is a average of 35:65 - girl:boy ratio. For Sports and Labs, there is everything available but for extracurriculars, it has been solely given to student bodies, so there is more or lessly no help from the administration regarding infrastructure for extracurricularactivities or equivalent funds for them

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Here Hostels are seperate for every year, i.e we have 4 hostels. Here we have maximum of single sharing rooms in all hostels. Average rental for hostel per semester including mess fee is 45k, that makes it 90k annually. All the basic amenities are there available in the hostel. Infrastructure is decent.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a very strong alumni network and senior students are more of a guiding light for all of us here at NSUT. There are at least 4 alumni meets/session held in a semester, and out TNP cell is also headed by an Alumni, so that proves a considerable role of Alumni in our college

Admission

My Admission process depended on JEE mains entrance examination. I fetched ICE branch in the spot round. This decision was made by preferring college over branch and moreover my father graduated from the same college 30 years back, so this was kind of an inclination choice.

Faculty

4

Our college houses one of the most finest and well learned faculty from all over India, and I would like to appreciate our faculty for devoting enormous time to make us well versed with the course and more importantly getting us know about the practical importance of what we are learning.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
