Wonderful Time

We had gala time in our college. It was a nice experience and made a lot of good friends. Though we had tough papers in accountancy but we learned how hard papers used to set which eventually helped in Board Exams which was quite easy for us to pass. So eventually my college helped me a lot for mu future.

I Passed H.S.C and got admission in R.A. Poddar College, i got 51 % in HSC and was inspired the college as it is the top most college for Commerce.

Course curriculum was excellent, had all the lectures on time. Especially Economics and Accountancy was good. We had Eco, E.VS. Maths, and project work at that time.

We never had this kind of internship interview at that moment of time. As it was plain B Com. So companies came for selecting the candidate for Internship. If this is happening now then no idea.

We never had interviews from Companies. Only till B Com was there so no question comes for placements and job opportunities. If this process was there would be nice for everyone.

At that time lot of events used to happen. Malhar was the event where inter college competition used to happen and we used to enjoy a lot. As lot of students used to come. the only complain we had, as there was no AC in the Auditorium where the programe used to happen.

The fee structure was very manageable not too much expensive. If now it has increased then no idea. Like middle class public would also be able to pay the fees. There was no tension for the fee structure.

No we had no scholarship process in our college. so there was no question of availing loan because the fee structure was very minimal. Everybody could easily afford.

College Campus was not much happening. We used to have debates in the class as it was part of the curriculum activity. The debates used to happen quite often and was nice discussing on current issued.

We had no hostels as all the students were from local mumbai. So there was no need of Hostel and the for the food. But we had canteen was excellent and we had music box in the canteen. which had enjoyed a lot in the canteen.

Yes we had some interactions with seniors for seeking help for cultural events to make, how to move forward what would be the schedule. And also for Notes and how would be the pattern for exams etc.

We had the Exams regularly and the project exams was a big task as every subject we had and that too 10 Marks. So project work and Written exams both were counted. Yes we were very hectic with schedule we had and plus after the exams we were in chilled atmoshphere.

Faculty of our college was excellent expect the EVS professor as he was very rude with everyone. Never used to give good marks for everyone and this was the subject everyone got the ATKT for most of the students.
