Good in college of education and fun

Admission was based on the marks scored in the std 12th. I scored 80% and hence secured an admission in bachelor of commerce field with SIES. In central side this is one of the reputed colleges wherein the curriculum is well drafted and suits the learning need of an individual. At the same time it gives much needed atmosphere of college fun.

Course curriculum have been well drafted especially in terms of advertisement,economics which is very critical to atleast know the basics in today's time. Further accounts and other subjects were standard other colleges.

There was no internship required. However based on the experience heard of other fellow students opportunities were not very much. Hence it can be said that the course does not require internship.

Fantasies is the main event that is celebrated at SIES. During our time it was very well celebrated with lots of cultural events and shows some special performances. As part of special guests they were able to pool in TV actors.

It can be reasonable. However there was a scope of charging less fees. Being a from reasonable family it wasn't expensive for me. However in names of course like IT or Tally, fees charged was little on a higher side.

To best of my knowledge college did not offer loan facility to students. However since it was operated by trust of a south indian community they may be getting some scholarship from the trust or college.

Campus life had been good. Though being a CA student we were not active in much of our campus life. However there were various activities involved like volleyball,cricket, football tournaments. Then there were various competitions. There were creative activities like drawings and paintings etc.

Since staying in Ghatkopar I did not stay at Hostel so I cannot comment on the same. Mess food had been very good as we used to enjoy a lot. Especially Manchurian, Manchurian Pav,Sabudana wada all were very delicious.

It provides good platform to interact with ex-students. However college should start some online social network connecting with alumni network. At the moment we have been in contact with very few people out side our friend circle.

Exam is twice in an academic year. It is mostly 100 marks paper for each subject for timing of 3 hours.

Faculty is well learned. However some of the faculty members were not very supportive especially to students pursuing CA as this feel a student should focus more on B.Com then CA.
