A student review

Management is strict about attendance. Before every semester I have to pay penalty for belay 75% attendence.

Couse curriculum is based on MAKAUT University. Exam structure is 2 semester per year and it's 4 years course. 8 semesters are there. And the sturcture is lot better than general courses. Moreover 6 monts gap between every semester. And each and every semester we had 5/6 subjects.

Placements are not good at my time. We have bond with 3 to 4 companies in kolkata. They came every year and placed some of students. Our vc has their own IT company. So computer science students don't have to worry about placements.

We organise techfest and cultural fest every year. Nore than that we celebrate so many events like freshers welcome, biswakarma puja, teacher's day etc. Every year our college organise inter college sports. DKB memorial is famous by our college. After that crackers exhibition was held by us. It's a huge celebration.

Fee Structure is as usual. Like any other college. It's good that our college provide TFW facilities. Half fees is allowed as per terms & conditions. I checked for TFW to yes when I filled up my forms in joint exams. because my father's income is below 1. 5lakh per year.

I never applied for any loan and scholarship program. Now our college is under JIS group. Hope you will find out. There are so many programs.

Campus life is like heaven. First year was tuff for knowing the environment and studies. Then faculties are also became friends. Lot of students from tripura and Darjeeling. They become very famous in our college because of uniqueness. And no political parties in our college.

Hostel service is good. It's too close from our college. And the rooms are quite big. There are 2/3 students per room. Everyone has their single bed. All food and beverages served by our hostel Worden.

Seniors are like brothers. They never hesitate to call us. they also share their rooms and beers. We are still get in touch by our college alumni. Every year we get invitation from our college to celebrate.

Based on my WBJEE rank I shortlist this college. It's a huge campus. Big playground, lab facilities are good, good faculties. And I like about the most our college has one big football playground and one Cricket ground. And more over computer lab was so good and updated.

Faculties are all phd holders and they are helpful and available online to help if we got stuck. They used more modern way to teach and frequently interact with students to help to motivate and give everyone same attention. Lab assistants are also very helpful. If someone is not present in lab then they help individuals.
