Good mentorship, lack of updated tech

The curriculum needs to be updated urgently to make sure industry standards are met. Most alumni at a good position right now had their profession figured out on their own or via professional network. On fampus placement trainings should be better. The aptitude tests should atleast be cleared by all students.

The course curriculum is a little outdated. The subjects are not according to the industry standards and the focus is much on the theory rather than applied knowledge. Exam structure is good, equal emphasis is given to labs and theory subjects although the subject curriculum is outdated.

Many companies visit on campus and conduct placements. Though I feel more companies should come for variety of positions rather than mass recruitment. There are many students looking for hands on applied projects, or cutting edge technology positions but the placements for such kinds is far from possible on campus. Internships are not available on campus, we have to look off campus. Companies visited :- Accenture, Infosys, Deloitte, EnY, Paytm, ZS Associates, Ion trading. Aptitude tests are followed by technical round and then a one on one interview.

The cultural environment is nice. Many events are conducted in college and the societies are given much flexibility to conducts their own festivals. On campus fest, Independence day, Teachers Day, Tech Fest (Techsurge and Mridang) are some of the events.

The fee structure is in line with the course standards of this course across all colleges. Each semester fee is 90k. Mode of payments is NEFT, DD. The college provides transparency is the fees breakdown. Additional fees apart from tuition is hostel, lab fees etc.

No did not opt for any scholarship. Scholarships are generally not provided in the college. Admissions are secured purely on IPU CET.

Campus life is good as compared to life in Delhi colleges. Hostel parties are hosted by seniors. Not a lot of events are conducted by college for this purpose. Gender ratio is extremely good. In some courses the female participation is even greater than male. No discriminatory actions are found on campus. Extracurricular activities include various societies functioning on campus - Drama, dance, literary, tech societies.

Not at all. The alumni network is very weak and LinkedIn functions as the only aid to reach out. On campus senior interaction is also low and most of the times we were to figure out things on our own which could have been handled much better via interaction. The college does not provide with any interaction sessions with seniors post admission.

I appeared for the IPU CET exam and secured a rank on the basis of which got the IT branch in the online counseling. The admission process required to physically appear with all documents at the college once the rank is in line with cutoff rank provided.

Faculty is very nice. The mentors understand and converse well with the students and try to reach out to solve their problems. Due to outdated subjects the students have to look for their own resources to be at par with the industry standards but a good foundation is laid.
