Remarks

I would suggest you to keep this college in your second list. If you find better colleges than my college go for it but if you don't you can happily choose my college. Apart from college fees transportation is costly and your forced to use there college bus as there are no transport available in and around college. Food they give in mess or in small shops within campus are good but little expensive. There is parking fees and if you don't pay them you will be tolled.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The knowledge they wanted to incur in our minds was heavily dependent on marks and exams they placed. There education did not help me in gaining insights on industry but was okay to learn little about industries. There were company recruitments and placements but was less for my department especially for technical fields.

Placement Experience

3.5

Many companies came for selection purpose like Bosch, Infosys, Wipro, Tata steel, BHEL, Titan and many more. Most of the companies used to directly take an interview for selection purpose and others used to take many written exams, personality test and finally an interview. There were mass recruitments at times. My college had go us through training a year before recruitments happened which were little helpful. Two years before graduation we were given task to internship in whatever company we liked, so we had to find and search for companies to do internship.

College Events

4.5

Every year we had a cultural programs and particularly our branch had a special program called 'Anadyanta' which would help our mechanical branch to get insights and knowledge about our management system and how our college conducts researches. We also had some book party club, sports events if selected you could even go to national level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you are good at scoring and are by heart reader you can secure marks easily and would be easy to enter the college. For others who have very low marks they have to enter through management quota. Basically you need to give more money. But compared to other colleges, it is cheap but still expensive overall.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college offered many scholarship opportunity and they did not offer any loan. I missed many of this scholarship but when our final year project was declared the winner we were given some money as a winning prize and all our journals were published.

Campus Life

4.5

In our college there were more males compared to females and in our branch there were only 3 female students out of 187 students as not many girls opt for mechanical. During my years of college there were no sexual harrasment or any racial discrimination cases. Even if it happened it would happen in hostels or college buses outside of college grounds.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college seniors were especially helpful especially during our projects and assisted us on how to carry it out. We were very thankful to them. Some other seniors used to rag us in buses and it was not to a extreme extent but it was a fun kind of thing.

Admission

I got it through admission and through CET exam and my father recommended to check out this college. It has a huge foundation and there were many people who were in que to get in the college. You need to either have a good marks or you can get in by providing them money.

Faculty

3.5

They were helpful at times and helped me get what I wanted. Other times I was on my own and felt bad. But yes if you ask for help they sure will be ready to help in any way possible. Some lecturers had industrial experience and most of them were new comers also.
