Remarks

The Bad remarks is that the college sometimes don't care about the attendance because later on the students could attend the Extra Classes and given them the atttendance.

Yes the course is much relevant for what I was looking for and it provided me various knowledge in a practical manner. The Course is very important for me to take up because of the Subjects offered and regarding the placements. The college had organized the students an industrial visit to a Temple and a NGO organisation as to how it works.

Placement Experience

Jain University offers the Best placements till date. Various companies are a part of placement drives. Some are Insists, Wipra, TCS, Morgan Stanley, Samsung etc. Roughly around 80% of the students get placed every year. Yes the college prepares the students in such a manner that they could deal in the corporate world. College arranges a workshop regarding Personality development, Grooming, Corporate ettiqet, Interview skill, Resume Writing etc.

College Events

Jain University has the biggest student council (Samashti) in Bangalore and it holds the overall Prices in National level festivals . Samasthi invites Famous celebrities for the fests. Samashti organises the juniors with the freshers fest along with the celebrities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure Depends on the course you are opting for. Yes the college fees is Little expensive When it comes to middle Clas people. The mode of payment are via Cash, Net banking, etc. There is no such as additional fees to be paid in order to secure admission. The college provides 2 installments for the fee payment during the year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I havent opted any of them. But the college offers Scholarship opportunities for the students which can help the student to pay the fees. Eligibility criteria is above 85%

Campus Life

Jain University is the best Campus. The Gender ratio is Male:Female 10:9. The campus is surrounded by Malls and Food corners every street and Transport facilities Bus stand, Auto stand. This college welcomes various religions and There is no discrimination regarding Race.

Hostel Facilities

No. I haven't opted for the hostel as I stay with my Family in Bangalore. I guess the College Hostel provides Excellent quality of Hostel room and food. They also provide with Wi-Fi, Laundry and the hostel room sharing.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors in Jain University are very helpful and most encouraging ones. They help the Juniors in academics by providing notes as well as Encouraging them in Cultural Festivals

Admission

I opt for Bcom because I want to make a career in a commerce field or startup a business. & This colleges offers the Best Commerce Courses. The admission process involves specific percentage of Marks for the course. It starts with Entrance exam, Group Discussion. The students selected will be eligible for the Personal interview later. The factor I choose is that University Facilities : The university offers a student to expose his talents and ideas in a practical manner to be successful in a corporate world.

Faculty

Well the college Faculties are very well experienced and are expert in their Fields. Average number of lectures would be 70-80 aged average around 35. Yes the faculties provide a clear knowledge about a particular subject. They also teach the students regarding Personality development etc.

I would rat 8/10 as the course was pretty good, I learnt eaverything in my B.com, whether its abut marketing, finance, sales , accounts. So basically it included everything a student needs in their graduation. I suggest that there should have been regular classes with encourages student teacher interaction.

Remarks:

Our college supports us alot. They teach us how to behave in public. Apart from curriculum they want us to be humble honest helpful. Every classroom is air-conditioned. Very fortunate to be associate with this college.

In our period it was prestigious to study commerce stream in our college and had good rating for the course and the for students who passed out from that college. The management had good lot of concern about the poorer section of the society and hence kept the fee structure at a very nominal level and thus help to get education for all

Remarks:

They need to improve little infrastructure .they are improving but still need to do. They also have to put some efforts to help students excel in their overall development and rest everything is fine here in canara, i loved studying in this college. Faculties are also good,friendly in nature.
