My college

It should organise job fair at the college campus and try to call more MNCs for placement.

This is a four-year course. There are 2 semester's in each year, one odd & one even semester and total 4 internals in an year. The marks are in ratio of 80:20, 80 marks on the semester performance and 20 marks was on the internal's performance and class performance of a student. Practical marks and Project marks were totally in the hands of college professors.

College arranges placement season for the final year students. It also arranges seminars conducted by MNCs, startups for each year students. It arrange workshop for students on their respective subjects. It send its student for training and intership in the 3rd year according to the academic performance of the student.

In an year almost 7 events including technical fest, cultural fest, freshers, teacher's day celebration, sports day, saraswati puja, vishkarma puja are celebrated. These events are celebrated on large scale, college students as well as students from other colleges come and participate in the events. Top three performers are given cash prize as well as certificate and rest of the performers are given the participation certificate.

Feasible for engineering course. They accept the money by draft and through NEFT mode only. At the time of admission they take caution money as security purpose of around rs. 6000 but they refund this money after the graduation of a student completes.

Yes, college provides scholarship to the financially weak students. They had to show their family's annual income report and their own semester's marksheet.

The ratio of girls to boys was 1:5 at our college. We had basketball ground, football ground, seperate badminton court, cricket ground at our campus. There was a open air auditorium where college conducts the technical as well as cultural fests. We had mechanical workshop, library, well equipped labs at our college campus. During the technical fest students from other colleges of all over country come to take part in events like robotics, debates, etc.

3 seaters, 2 seaters and single seater rooms were available at our college. They alott single seater room on the basis of the student's academic performance and they take extra charge for single seater rooms.

I had interacted with many alumnus during the college fest and all of them were working at MNCs and they had suggested me for the walk in interviews.

I had given WBJEE entrance test and ranked 26000 position. Then I went through the counselling process, there I had applied for many colleges with my desired department and got selected for this college at the very first round. Then I went to college and enrolled myself there for pursuing btech course.

There were total six departments at my college, and each department had around 20-25 faculties including lab assistants. The faculties were PhD. holder either from IITs or from NITs and the lab assistants were BTech. Their attitude was student friendly.
