My College

The college staff is very good and work way over expectations but the college management needs to work on them itself as they need to redefine a few rules for the betterment of the students.

The exam structure was such that we used to have 2 semester exams per year and inbetween the semesters, there was internal exams taking place just to make sure we were in the loop and studying at home and paying attention to classes. At the time of placements we were groomed by arranging special classes.

The students were given extra grooming for placements and the placement drives would take the best of the lot. All general steps like introduction, aptitude rounds and technical nd non technical rounds of interview used to take place.

We have a technical festival that takes place once a year and a cultural festival that aso takes place once a year. The technical festival comprises of different knowledge based competitions as well as fun based. It happens once a year for 2 days. The same goes for the cultural fest. Celebrities from West Bengal itself are invited to join our cultural fest and entertain the students, staff and family.

For registration - 20000, 1st semester - 40000, 2nd semester - 37000, 3rd semester - 38000, 4th semester - 39500, 5th semester - 40000, 6th semester - 42000, 7th semester - 41000, 8th semester - 40000. Mode of payments accepted were cash, cheque, net banking.

No, I did not avail any scholarship programs, but my college did have a couple of scholarship programs that helped a few students of less financial stability and good results to complete their course.

There were no discrimination of any sorts. The extracurricular activities were organized by the students for the student keeping in mind the wellnees of the seniors and juniors with the help of the staff. The labs and other workshops were equal for all students.

The senior students are very helpful and understanding and have always been working hard to keep the students of all courses united.

I got admission through West Bengal entrance exam and online counseling. I wanted to join CSE course and positively got that through online counseling. In that counseling, you have to fill in your choice of college and according to your rank in terms of 3 round you will be placed or rejected a sit in that college.

The faculty was one of the best things that I had. They were very supportive all through the 4 years course. During exams or even when we needed them to help us out with our study after the college hours, they used to help us over phone and support us as long as we needed them.
