Remarks

It's good to be a student of this college. Apart from placements there is no other problems at the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The learning is imparted in a well planned manner with the usage of ppt and practical training from expertis of the field and Yes we do have plenty of industrial visits to get insights on practical working of the industries. The college placements are not upto the mark for the MBA course but we also share our campus with the engineering wing and their placements are ranked one among the top colleges at Bangalore.

Placement Experience

2

Placements at our college when it comes to MBA sector it's not making much sound as we are a budding branch our branch is just around 7years old andsince 3 years we are automonous, So we are still trying our level best to drive through many companies, our placement cell is trying its level best even at this covid 19 circumstances to get their students placed at the best company they could. Its same with the internships. Coming to the engineering wing of NMIT, Our college is doing tremendous at their placements and internships.

College Events

5

Anaadyanta 2k20 is a college fest hosted by NMIT which stands to be one among the best fest among top colleges of the Bangalore. We have celebrity like armaan malik, Sunidhi Chauhan performing live at our fests. We do have management fest at the department level. We have crowd of around 50, 000 people.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes there is a transperancy in the fee breakdown and I was charged around 80, 000 for my course that is MBA in HR/finance. The mode of transaction is either cash or NEFT or Cheque. I payed through NEFT. There is no additional fee charged to secure the admission to my course.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I have not opted for any scholarships or education loan. There are various scholarships and education loan availed by my friends which is unknown to me. Many are on the basis of their income and marks ratio.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is 50:50, yes there are too many workshops conducted by our college and also we get invites from our neighborhood colleges too. There is no any differnciation btw women and men all are equally treated and there is comfortable environment.

Hostel Facilities

3

Nope I have not opted for hostel. I stay at a pg nearby to college which is around 2km away and I pay a sum of ?5, 500 monthly for my pg for 3 sharing room which includes all the facilities such as wifi, washing machine, TV, food, breakfast etc. College hostels are hygenic and they have 2 sharing and three sharing rooms which is situated inside the campus and also outside the campus which cost around 1 lakh.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, alumni network is quite helpful for our placements but that is not at peak though. Few seniors help us to get through our internships and get into good company for work.

Admission

Being an software engineer I opted to MBA to gain some managerial skills. I answered PGCET exam and ranked around 3000 and I shortlisted few colleges during the process and among the selected college I got NMIT in the process in the first round of selection, I waited for second round and then again got NMIT and then visited the college and did my admission.

Faculty

4

We have got 10 teaching professors among which one is our HOD, Dr Harish babu who is young and energetic and infact the best down to earth person. His the gem of a person. His age is around 42. Other 9 professors are also around the age group of 36 to 43years. And most of them hold a experience of more 10 years in the field of teaching. We have one professor Mr Kiran Kumar who has practical experience on reliance telecommunication industry.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time.
