College is nice but the management is very bad here. Management is like Govt office you will have to go to 4-5 places to get your work done. Teachers need to be less strict.

Institute follow non cbcs structure. Also it is research driven. Examination are mostly consist of hard question. Most of the question paper are of gate standards most of students studying in bit mesra are gate aspirants so they don't go for placements industrial visits are organised for 3rd year students institute allocate funds for industrial visits students doesnot have to pay any extra amount for that.

For civil engineers companies visited are:- L&T, Relaince, TUSCO RECRUITMENT PROCESS 1) APTITUDE TEST 2) GROUP DISCUSSION 3) INTERVIEW. Tentative percentage of students placed are about 70%. Yes institute take special steps to prepare the students for the placement season.

Pantheon is the technical fest in which have large number of participants from other colleges as well. Bitotsav is our cultural fest in which all students of Jharkhand compete with each other it also get participation from student from colleges like kiits, Gita, etc. Also each branch in our College have their own clubs through which they organise small fest which are branch specific. Budget of pantheon is around 20 lakhs. Budget of bitotsav is around 50-60 lakhs.

For civil engineering fee is about ?13 lakhs excluding mess charges which is about ?20000 per semester. No fee in bit is not feasible most students have to take loans from banks to study here, No no extra fees had to be paid to secure an admission, yes College shows transparency in fee breakdown.

Yes College offer scholarship opportunities to student if they score more than 8sgpa but the condition is their parents earning should be less than 2 lakhs per annum. Scholarship is only in a form of relief in college fees and it ranges from 70-100% relief which is based upon sgpa scored by students.

Campus life is good and soothing. Gender ratio is about 10:1, parties are organised by student outside campus. Students here are from all over India. No the is no descrimination on the basis of gender and race. And there is strict tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economics status.

Hostel is necessary for all students of bit. Hostel rooms are of good quality. we have room mates only in first year. After first year single room is provided to each student. Hostel fee is included in the institute fee. Hostel facilities are mention below:- 1) wifi 2)Lan 3)24 hrs water and electricity 4)mess in each hostel 5) Telivision room in every hostel 6) common room in every hostel.

Seniors are very helpful. Alumni helped us in studies and they don't do ragging. Yes College have alumni network but it is mostly helpful for CS and IT branch students.

I always wanted to be a civil engineer so I applied for this subject You can only get admission here by jee main engineering entrance exam by according to the rank in jee main you'll get the college then there is a process of document verification after document verification you'll get the admission.

Mostly we have to attend 45-50 lectures per subject, average age of faculties would be about 45, and most of them have done PhD from IIT, faculties uses smart classes for better understanding of the subject. We do get lecturers relevant to industry experience.
