Review of My College

Overall College experience was Good. There was a Study Environment and it was a Healthy and Friendly relation with all the folks of the College. Teachers Students interaction was Good. Practical classes were held regularly along with the regular assessment exam and Viva class. Regular Theory classes were held as per the routine.

Course Curriculum includes overall 8 semesters with Theory as well as Practical Subjects and it is mandatory to attend the Practical Class.Internal Test along with Viva Classes were held which helps students for self assessment.Industry driven Theoretical knowledge were given and we had to take industrial training by visiting to the Plant at our own initiative

The companies that visited were Wipro BPO, ITC Infotech,L&T. Placement of the college was not so satisfied as there was a pool campus and most of them had to opt for off campus placement. General steps included Presentation, Online or Offline written Test followed by Interview.

Yearly Tech fest along with the College Fest takes place. In the Tech fest, Robotics and the Artificial Intelligence were the subject. And in Cultural fest students participates in Singing and Dancing as well as Well renowned kolkata Band fossils came to perform on the stage.

Overall program fee was 2.10 lac for 8 semesters and it was accepted through DD or Cheque. There was no additional charges to be paid in order to secure admission. Yes College do provides transparency in the fee-breakdown. In the fees structure, College Uniform is also included.

I opted for Educational Loan for my College and i was not aware about the scholarship opportunities in my college as i was never eligible for the same.

Gender Ratio M:F that is 40:20, freshers welcome party was conducted, freshers introduction to the seniors.There was a friendly relationship between Seniors and Juniors. There was no ragging and it was totally student friendly environment. Everyone in the College was very friendly.

I had not opted for hostel and the reason behind is that my journey from home to College was 1 hr and they provide College bus at a particular pick up point. So most of the students who stays within the City did daily travels hence very few people stayed in hostel.

Senior Students were very much helpful. They shared their notebooks, graphic tools and it was a very friendly interaction with seniors.

I got the admission through the Councelling of JEE where i got the seat for AEIE in this College and 4 days were given to take the admission for the allocated seat.During that time recession were badly affected the IT sectors and my first preference was for Electronics and Communication but many suggested to go Instrumentation as they analysed that it has a big prospect in Future.

Faculty of the College is very Good. They have a good technical knowledge where they help the students to understand each and every topic in an easier way. They are very much supportive enough to provide the notes as well as they made us aware upcoming on and off campus placement and updated us about the topics which was suppose to come in the exam. Yes the lecturers hold Industry Experience with Certifications.
