Good infrastructure but inexperienced teachers

College management sucks big time. They should keep industry experts on their panel and should have trustworthy and honest people who are ready to address to their student's concerns.

I did take the BMS entrance all India level test for my admission and the college doesn't offer any other entrance test in their internal admission process that students have to go through.

Course curriculum was nice as we followed the university curriculum but this college offers only text book knowledge. All their teachers are employed on full time and none of the teachers have any industry experience. Due to this we didnt get any practical knowledge.

The college doesn't offer internal recruitment but I was on a job while studying so I earned nearly 25k per month as it was a full time job. I got the job based on my merit and interview for which the college has not supported me in any way.

There were barely any placements or job opportunities offered during my course duration with this college. However, we did get some kind of information as to how we can crack interviews and the college did conduct regular seminars.

Cultural festival was celebrated at a grand scale and the management supported the students in the funding. Regular educational and information based seminars were conducted. Science fair was conducted and students had to participate and come up with original and innovative ideas.

The fees are expensive as compared to other colleges. The infrastructure is good. For BMS the college would allow the students to use their AC's in 2009 but I don't know about their current trend and services that they offer.

I am not aware about the scholarship or loan facility that they offer to their students. They usually take a full advance of the first year fees upon joining.

The gender ratio is pretty much even and there is no racial discrimination as such. Though there is politics among the teachers and students as some of the teachers are very shrewd and some students are wrong as well.

There is no hostel facility or mess food available. They do have a canteen and a books store inside the campus. The canteen offers a variety of foods and beverages at a very nominal cost.

There is no alumni network and senior students network in the college. They should set one up. They should have a forum or portal developed for the alumnus of their college for the various courses they offer.

Exam structure is as per the university of Mumbai guidelines. They follow the rule book and all exam papers and internals are held as per the university guide lines and structure.

Most of the faculty is good but the co-ordinator Mrs. Richa uses the students for her advantage, If we didn't butter her she would fail students and threaten us. She has actually not given us full marks for vivas or practicals and this has caused many students in attaining low percentage and grades. She has blackmailed, threatened and even spoken rudely to many students and as the students are scared of failing they have not complained to the management about it. The management has thus failed to do anything about this.
