Remarks

In all.. I had a crazy and a good college experience. It had brainstorming with batch mates and teachers and getting to know various opinions and learning to accept other people's opinions to crazy parties and fun events and sports.

Entrance Preview

KMAT (Karnataka MAT) marks: 99.75 (fluke)Chose this college as it is in Bangalore, has a beautiful campus and had decent placement opportunities and did not want to attempt IIM-B.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was the regular MBA curriculum with an interesting dual specialisation offer. The subjects were economics, human resource, statistics, marketing, finance, logistics, marketing research, English, project management etc. I did it in marketing an project management .

Internships Opportunities

I did twin internship. One i had gor okaced from the college an the other internship i had bagged by attending an interview outside. One company had an internship stipend and tge itger dis not. They paid me 7.5k and the other nill.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement opportunities were there (many companies across industries had come in) but we had to face stuff competition as we were 360 students in the batch. So it was a good lesson for us to kickstart our entry into the outside (job) world.

College Events

4.5

We had many cultural events, technology events, marketing, finance events etc. along with that we celebrated every festival and had sports competitions too.

Campus Life

4.5

We did not have any gender discrimination. We had loads of completions and cultural events. We used to regularly have extra curricular activities and sports was a usual feature to. It was all sportingly done and participated.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a good network of students as each batch has a large no of students. The alumni tries to stay in touch. We are trying to see various channels to connect and stay in touch. We just had a recent event where we met few alumni and had a discussion on current events and it was good as brainstorming is always welcome.

Exam Structure

Structure: internal exam and external comprised the 100 marks. So we had to pay attention to assignments, tests, presentations and the exam.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Practically 80% of my 2020 batch was given job offer by top recruiting organizations like Amazon, iGate, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co. Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs.
