Remarks
College management is good. Complaints about several issues coming from the student's side are taken up and does not take long to implement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is based on present topics in the technical sector like 3d printing, etc. The college is research driven. The faculty always welcomes interested students to pursue research with them. Research projects are given high importance in the college.
Placement Experience
Placement percentages are high in computer science and electronica and communication department. Other departments lag behind in placements as is the scene in all colleges across India. Initially, we had to search for internships for ourselves during the summer. But recently there has been a change where students are given internships in the final year.
College Events
There is an annual cultural fest called AatmaTrisha which is a good event. Spans for a week. Then there is a science fest called Epsilon conducted by first year students. Then there is a national science fair conducted by this college called 'The Amateur Scientist'.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive I would say. Compared to other colleges across Bangalore, this college is a bit expensive for students who come through merit as well. You can imagine what it would be for management candidates. Minimum is one lakh each year. Fees are per year and not per semester. They give a decent time period to pay the fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
You need to show your marks card of the latest semester that got over to the bank. Scholarships are given by the college every semester to the top 20 percent of the batch. Bank also gives education loan as well for the students. we can opt for the bank of our choice or the operational bank in the college.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. Except that nowadays there is a lot of dust due to ongoing construction works in the campus. The campus is small compared to other engineering college campuses in Bangalore. They have a cricket ground, turf ground for sports. The college is situated on a hill slope so the roads are sloped. There are many clubs in the college. Each are for each competitions. Labs are good. there are a few research labs also. Gender ratio is also good compared to other colleges in Bangalore.
Hostel Facilities
No. But I know how the hostels are from my hosteler friends. There are three types of hostels. Rooms are given on first come- first serve basis. Even food passes are given the same way as there are three different canteens to opt for.
Alumni/Alumna
PESU Alumni always meets on the 15th of August every year. They help setup startups for the younger batches if they are interested. They have a good connection with the teaches in the college. They come forward to help the students.
Admission
After the results come theres a session where rankwise students are called to pick their choice of branch. Its called councelling session. You will have to pay 10k as DD if you have opted for a seat in the college. You will get a t-shirt, bag and water bottle that day after submitting all necessary documents. Entire fees can be paid later.
Faculty
Faculty has three levels, the doctorate teachers, doctoral candidates pursuing research and those who primarily teach. Teaching is good. Each lecture is recorded and can be accessed through the university's official app. Teachers clear doubts if necessary. All final exams donot have choice questions.
