Course curriculum is relevant and fair but not research driven. It will help me to learn basics of Computer Science.

Tcs, wipro, capegemini, cts, byjus, btand many more reputed it companies come to our college but not Google microsoft. They give us internships in 6th semester.

We have small events all round year but special events like tech fest and cultural fest in March.

Fee Structure is feasible if you enter college via wbjee. and they have online payment. debit/credit card swiping.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is 60:40 in our college where 60boys 40 girls. We have cultural club events we have good libraries we have karate club have football cricket basketball courts college owned gyms seperate for boys and girls and also in tech fest robotics competition are organised.

They're really very helpful and keep supporting us all time.

I got admission by ranking in Wbjee. We choose College if selected we have to lock the college at allotment center then go to college with proper documents.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The main reasons for choosing this college was- 1.I had heard a lot about this college in terms of teaching style and the other faculty members. 2. This college provides a good placement . 3. In wbjee minimum rank you should get to admit in cse it branches is 30000... application form are available in college site..it should be better if u do it in offline mode..in a year 2 semesters are organised one in December and one in June....more workers should be hired during admission time.....Read More
