Nishant Raj's Review On Birla Institute Of Management Technology - [BIMTECH], Greater Noida

I appeared for CAT exam, and secured 86 percentile.I had options of IMT Nagpur, BIMTECH, IMI Kolkata & FORE. I consulted seniors of all the four colleges & got the best feedback about BIMTECH. I also consulted the Head of IMS coaching center of Patna, he also suggested me the same.

I went to France for student exchange program so I have not done the internship. My friends got nice & decent companies for internship. And I dont remember exactly, but they got some stipend also.

I was placed on the very first day of the Placement process. So, I would say that Placements are very good. They bring many companies in the campus and a student has many options to choose from. During my Placement season, I think more than 100 companies came for recruitment. And placement percentage was more than 90%.

There are so many college events held that you can keep yourself busy to the neck. You can choose among so many events according to your liking. If you like debate, dance, singing, cooking. You can participate in the event of your choice.

Loan facility is available and scholarships are also given. Regarding the admission process, I am not sure. But scholarships are given to students who secure 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions during the semester exams. And is given department wise. 1st Position student gets 50k rupees, 2nd position student gets 25k rupees in every semester.

BIMTECH alumni cell was not that good till the time I was in college. But in last 1 year, they are working a lot on this aspect & management is trying to keep the Alumni in touch.

Exams are held thrice in a year. In between that many Tests & quizzes are held. They have arranged it in such a manner that you are always in touch with your studies and you keep on learning everyday.

The faculty are really rich in knowledge & are experienced people from industry. The faculties are from Tata, ICICI, Asian Paints and the list follows. Faculties are really hard working and take lots of efforts to teach students and impart knowledge to them. They are available 24 by 7 for the students.
