Insight of SITM

It's a national level exam (AIEEE) which is conducted across India. Based on the ranking you got; seats will be alloted in respective College. I remember when I went for the councelling; there were around 110 colleges in Haryana who took part for the councelling.

After completing the academic part; we went for the internship in Airtel Bharti, Gurgaon. For the recruitment drive whenever a company visits any College; they straight away conduct some aptitude tests and a round of technical interviews.

Youth festival, Engineers Day, and other technical and cultural events. I think those are pretty common across all the colleges. Nothing new in terms of events and participation. Everyone has knowledge these days of what kind of event happens on the college level.

The fee was pretty aligned with other colleges at that time. All government institutions have less freedom compared to private institutions. All is well approved by AICTE. In terms of mode of payments; at that time people used to pay via cheque or via direct bank deposits using dedicated deposit slips.

No, I didn't applied for any loan or something. We paid directly twice in a year. Around 2 lakhs we paid in total.

Yeah it was nice experience everytime whenever there are such activities. Took part many times in debates and other techno festivals. Learned a lot from these events personally as well as professionally. Again it's all about management how they conduct the events.

Yeah, we got very nice batch of senior students who helped a lot in learning the things and we went in the right direction.

After the AIEEE exam in 2006, I filled choices on technical education Haryana's website. Once counseling is over. I got the seat allotted here in SITM. Then as a standard procedure. we deposited fees over there and took admission. I completed my B. E degree from here.

Like every other college; we were also having some subject matter experts along with heads of the department. Most of the lecturers were MTech and a few of them were Ph.D. They explained the things in detail and with the help of their dedication and clear understanding of the subject; we know the things very well.
