I feel our college management was good. Mobile phones wer not allowed but parking charges was there for students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was good and lecturers were good. But more than course curriculum you will learn more in our 4th year projects and internships I feel because these are more practical and labs also teach you required basic practical knowledge which helps us become better professional. Industrial visits was conducted.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is not that good for my course in particular but for computer engineering and electronics and communication engineering and all it was very good. they conducted programs like mock interviews and all to help us.
College Events
Furore (college fest) is conducted every year and course related seminars. And also vibrations was a cultural fest which showcases your dance/art/singing or any other non curriculum activities. Furore is a fest where other college students also used to visit/participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My course was cheaper compared to other courses since I chose construction technology and management which is almost same as civil engineering. if we go through CET it is feasible but if you go through management seats it is bit expensive there you have to pay in lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got in through CET. my parents paid it. So I don't know about loans and all. for SC and ST students there is a concession in the fees.
Campus Life
Campus is very good. international students and north indian students were there. labs are very good. we have basket ball and football court also. all students are treated with equal attention and respect we or any student never faced any problems like that.
Hostel Facilities
College hostel is like 80000 per year but not worth it. Because it's 4 people sharing and common bathrooms which was not that good. food was very good but rooms and washrooms are not good for the amount we were paying.
Alumni/Alumna
Our seniors are very helpful. They helped us with internships and also projects. Sometimes our lecturers used to invite them to give seminars to us.
Admission
CET exam rank. I chose this course because I was interested. And also cut-off of cet ranks is high so it was easy to get into a good college like dayanand sagar college of engineering. since civil engineering cut-off is less because it's a very good college.
Faculty
Faculty of my college were very good. For our course we had atleast 15 faculties and. average age of them lies between 26 to 55. most of them has done PhD related to civil. yes the lecturers hold civil related certifications. and also they have industry related experience.
