St. Aloysius College Autonomous provides this excellent professional Bcom course, where students along with completing their degree studies can also start writing professional exams like CA and ACCA. The professional course provided by this college is very different from any other college they don't have separate classes for degree subjects and professional subjects, they teach it together making it easy for the students. Even the college includes many exciting activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it's a very difficult course and the college and faculties help us to achieve our goals. The faculty for the professional course are all CAs by profession, the college has 2-semester exams and each semester includes 2 internal exams.
Internships Opportunities
College provides internship in many areas for its students and even outsiders. It even has an IT course.
Placement Experience
In the 6th semester, students are eligible for attending campus placements, many companies visit the college, only this college in the whole of Mangalore has the highest company visits every year. At least 60% of students get jobs through campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Compared to any other colleges in Karnataka the fees for professional B.Com is lower, and even the college provides many scholarships and schemes for students to help them pay the fees.
Campus Life
The college has 2 inter-college fests every year and a fest for commerce students, the college also has many festival celebrations all throughout the year, the classrooms are very good and have modern amenities, the college also supports sports and has teams for football, cricket, handball, volleyball, basketball. The college also has a swimming pool, museum, library, 4 canteens, parking space, campus garden, 8 auditoriums etc.
Interview Experience
In the interview, the principal asks some regular questions about the course that we choose and asks us to talk about ourselves.
