Mechanical Engineering NIT AP

Presently our Institute is following Nit Warangal curriculum. The course work is extremely good. You will enjoy the subjects. If you prepare well for your semester exams that's enough for any competitive exam. The guidelines provided faculty are awesome. They helped us a lot regarding mechanical branch, others I don't know. There are many companies visited our campus and almost all are placed some how. T&P cell conducted mock interviews which will be helpful for placements. If score good, then you chances are high.

Placements are extremely good thhose who have software knowledge like c++, java, Phyton, SQL. So far many software companies visited our campus 90% cse students are placed and ece students too. If you are interested in software job then there are high chances of getting it. For electrical, mechanical, civil placements are good but not comparable with cse & ece students. L&T, Edutech companies gives opportunities to core branches. The packages for software jobs are high this it's around 16LPA, company name Fanatics and there are other companies offered more than 10lpa. Luckily for this year Brahmos visited our campus and 2 students selected for job one from electrical and the other from mechanical it's around 15Lpa. If you are good at studies and with additional knowledge of software languages it will be helpful in getting your job.

There are many events are conducted by respective departments. Asusual fest's every year. In addition too, we celebrate International yoga day, matru bhasha divas, repulic day, independence Day and many are there. There are dance clubs, music club, dramatic club, photography, magazine club there are many other clubs conduct their respective events.

It's very high compared to other NIT s. Its around 62. 5k tution fees and around 28k for mess, hostel and including other fees like WiFi, library, caution deposit. You can pay fee online or offline. For offline there is demand draft DD paid at SBI only. And for online you can pay through any mode and any bank through SBI Collect. And Based on your family income you can get fee waiver. And you can get scholarship if you are eligible. There will be no additional fee charged for admission as it is a central government college.

I'm not eligible for any scholarship as my father was a government employee. you can avail scholarship if you satisfy the requirements. Its time taking and slow process, even though your amount will be credited.

Campus life is good. It's a new campus you can feel the freshness of greenery near by the campus. Everyyear Intra and Inter NIT sports. Labs are good and some have to be established. For sports no need of worries there are plenty of them you can play during freetime.

I think best option is to opt for hostel. You can access WiFi, labs. As it is a new NIT the buildings are new. The rooms are good and washrooms are automated. Hot water availability, playground and you can access all the games at anytime if you are with in the college. Only problem with the hostel is it is far from the academic building it's around 2km and to reach maingate is the toughest part, if you have bicycle then it's good. Bikes are not allowed and you have park your bikes at parking area provided, this is for dayscholar.

As we're are the second batch and only one batch has graduated from our college. Our seniors are very good and we combinely play sports and participate in Mechanical association activities, they helped us a lot.

I got the rank in the jee Mains. Admission through Jee Mains. Counseling through Jossa. Admission processes and the tentative dates are provided by counseling authority. At the institute you have to verify all the documents like 10th, +12. You have to pay Admission fee before taking the Admission, the mistake I did during admission without paying fee it took me time for verification. Every state had their own NIT. But studying in home state in a prestigious institution gives more confidence. Mechanical is one of the old and best engineering branch. I learnt a lot and more to be. The place is very cool and nice where the campus is located like Greenery, ponds you can feel the freshness. Placements are good, if you have very good cgpa no one stop you.

In the first year, Nit Warangal used to visit our and teach us. Now there good number of faculty in our college with good educational qualification. But some are not good in teaching but they enough knowledge to train you. Overall it's good. Many of them have their postgraduates from IITs Nits and Phd scholars from IITs. Our own mechanical professor got young scientist award.
