A student will have accurate first hand information

The good aspect of this college is the fees is quite low which makes middle class students comfortable but the bad aspect is there is not a strictness on attendance due to which students doesn't attend classes. The admission process is totally based on merit and the dates are published on college website as well as on college dunia website where you can check about different colleges...the reason i preferred this college over other was because the English department in this college is quite good along with the good professors as compares to other colleges....well while choosing this college i used the collegedunia website as well as i followed the official website of college. The college needs some strictness on attendance so that students should attend regular classes

I chosen this course because after my 10th i had a keen interest on English subject as well as my marks on class 12 was the highest on English so i decided to go with English honours and since i want to become a writer and i am currently working on it....the student ratio in the department of English is average because under Calcutta university when it comes to English Presidency and comes first so the rush to get admission on this department under this college is less. The professors of the English department are very well qualified..the hod of English department have done PHD in English ...and now coming to the teaching method the classes takes place regularly teacher explain every chapter at first then they give us some questions from the chapter on which we have to make good answers after that they help us by giving some key questions and answers which actually cover up the whole chapter.

Well the placement in this college is not good because very few companies comes for placement...well after 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements...some companies like TCS and ICICI who comes for placements well as i belong to English department i don't have a knowledge about the packages being offered to the students ....the percentage of students getting placements are 25% as few companies come for placement...now coming to my plans after getting the degree i will be pursuing Masters in English since i want to continue studying in this department

The fees policy in Bangabasi college is way too affordable hence its a semi government college so the fees are also very low...the monthly fees in our English department is just 180 per month which helps the students to study comfortably and the cost to study in this college is very less..there are no extra fees in our department...well now coming to scholarships and jobs the campus selection in this college is very poor because campus selection doesn't take place on our department so the campus jobs are way too low.

The annual fest takes place in the month of December every year and since the college doesn't have a large auditorium where all the students can enjoy the function so the fest takes place in a good auditorium which is outside of the college because most of the colleges in Calcutta doesn't have a very large infrastructure and so on our college have...the library in this college is very good because there are different kinds of books....the amenities in the classroom are average ...there is a blackboard and other than that there are no projectors in the classes....the sports activities in the college is also average because the college doesn't have its own playground due to which once in a year some sports activities takes place...and there are no clubs or websites but there are union leaders who handles the problems and difficulties faced by students and also work for them
