MAT There was no as such elective approach for choosing this entrance exam, only reason was timing or schedule it was just after graduation final exams. I appeared for GD & PI (group discussion & personal interview in 3 management (B) colleges including iimt. All seemed to be filling up their seats with huge donation fee.

Course curriculum was not so effective, it was purely based on traditional education system. Theoretical part was more than required.Was not linked with market practices. Few subjects like IB (international Business), Business Communications were only in theory, were not synchronised with latest industry practice.Personality Development had less practicals and was not much structured.Only Finance was covered thoroughly. Most of the areas were covered through books by different writers.

For internship, there was not much arrangement from college, few companies came that to only for marketing.I had to complete my internship through my personal efforts and links. That was not stipend based. But was good from learning perspective. Got to see how corporates work. So overall good internship exp but was not from college side.

Placement rate was very low, On an average 10% students were placed on very low package.Companies for marketing were called for campus.

We celebrated two major events.Annual function and management premier league.MPL was interstate league, other colleges participated as well.It was good exp organising such a big event.

It was 3.6 L for 2 years Was feasible however looking at the quality of education seemed to be expensive. 3.5L in 2008 was not a that hug amount but it was also not small.

There was no scholarship offered by college but from state government was there. At the time of my course there were no facility of loan from the college as mine was 3rd batch of PGDM.

Campus life was good from enjoyment point of view, got chance to participate in many sports and competitions.Also got chance to visit few industrial setup as well. Got platform to showcase talent in organising events.

As i mentioned it was just 3rd batch of the college however later on i got invitation for alumni meet twice. Placement cell started working on alumni network.

It was chilled out, as i mentioned it was completely traditional education based.As our school classes, no nuch hectic days.

Faculties were good, few of them were quite knowledgeable with thorough subject knowledge aligned with market practices.However few were quite new to this field.Had mixed exp on faculties.
