Remarks

It is one of the best Indian colleges for engineering. Nearly 14 lakhs students appear every year for its entrance exam known as JEE MAINS and ones who qualify reappear for JEE ADVANCED. Nearly 20000 students get admission in 23 IITs across INDIA. IIT Roorkee is the oldest iit. No special need aroused for watching any blog or website as the college has tremendous popularity throughout the country. I got admitted in late July. As I was SC I got to pay no fees for academics but I have to pay for the hostel and mess. The best level of professors and classes are found in the College. The resources for research, studying and Games are the best I can think of. I preferred the college over the others due to my seniors and teacher mentioning the word ' higher package '.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose the course because I had always liked mathematics and this course takes it to another level. I always wanted to pursue in IT industry that's what the course offers. The faculty in the course is though not much helping or I can say it is not up to the mark I expect the only reason I rated it 8 of 10. If the faculty were good i would have rated the college 10.

Internships Opportunities

As I am a first-year, I don't know much about internships and placements but most I can tell is that internships are in-country and abroad. Many research scholars visit abroad and most of the internships are within the country. Literally, every student who tries gets an internship in the company of his choice.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students become eligible for placement in the 7th semester in a 4-year course and in the 9th semester if the course is 10 years. Students get internships offered in the first year. Microsoft, MasterCard, ola are some of its companies, many companies including engineering jobs visit, and nearly 1500 offers are made. This year the highest package was 1.5 crore per annum and the average package was nearly 15 lakhs per annum. Students who don't opt for higher studies got placed, which means that 90 percent of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

FEES are although were high as seen from a middle-class family but there is a number of schemes and scholarships to those who can't afford to pay. SC and ST students have no need to pay the tuition fees which cuts a large mark through fees. The same cut is for students who have a family income under 2 lakhs. I am in my second year but most of the students get placed on campus. Some of the students also get placed in micro soft

Campus Life

5

The life at the campus is the best thing I have got. Good hostel rooms start it, a lot of friends from the different parts of India makes me learn about different cultures. It's the best example of telling people how in India, people live with such unity. Many different clubs like dance, stand up, several technical groups, several sports groups and a club relating to every different field can be found on campus. NSS and NCC are on top

Hostel Facilities

4

I have got a fan, a bed, a tube light, a study table, a small table, a cupboard, a bulb holder,. The messing facility is inside the hostel. The menu of mess is very good but the quality of food is not. A washerman at negligible cost comes twice a week. 3 cycle stands in the hostel and two windows in every room. Very good facility.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of my relative told me that this course have large scope, and bright future so my brother applied for this course and i did this course and now i realised that it is good but they do not provide placement we only rely on our own. I think college should conduct sessional exam on time and the external exam should be conducted in 6th month. Exam are not much difficult.. they are moderate level.

The course curriculum at MBPG college covers all the core science subjects with basic practicals but you need to have extra skills if you want to learn more. Also the curriculum is bit theoretical and but practical too.

Ours is a government based program as many things comes in Aeronautics but ours is related to defense and therefore defense manufacturing names like BEML, BEL, and HAL are the top names where students of BSC (Aeronautics) in GEU will be placed.

I can name some companies with whom our college does have made tie-ups but since none has been placed as we will be the first one to be placed, it would be inappropriate to answer this question. Still, ISRO to DRDO are the organisations for which our course is Inclined.

I chose this course because I had a science background in 12 th and I am especially interested in Botany and zoology, which are also helpful for preparing for NEET and other competitive exam.the curriculum is useful for basic scientific understanding and future studies, but the college needs better lab facilities and more prectical instrument so students can gain proper hands on experience.the exam pattern is balanced, with some portions being easy and some difficult, while internal exam are generally moderate and depends on the students preparations

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite good and easy to understand. Among all the subjects, I like Chemistry the most, and topics related to transition elements are my strong area. This subject increased my interest in the course and helped me understand concepts more clearly. I chose this course because I want to make my career in the teaching field, and the syllabus provides a decent theoretical base for that. However, this course is not very helpful in terms of jobs, internships, or skill development, as there are limited job opportunities after completion. There is scope for improvement in teaching methods, such as more interactive and practical-based learning. Exams are conducted twice a year on a semester basis, every six months. The exam pattern is manageable, and the difficulty level of the papers is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have seen students who have studied from here have achieved many things in life some of them became professors here. Some are doing work abroad. According to me something there should be a change like having more practicals if you have taken subjects like IT, cs,bca or any other practical subjects book knowledge is also compulsory but by doing practicals we can learn more easily. Exams are normal for 1st year but as you are going higher difficulties will come.
