IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

In terms of my course relevance, the courses are quite relavent but in few areas you will still find that theory is given more importance. The curriculum here is the best for any college students to upgrade him/herself in a greater version of himself. The frequency of exams depends on the course professors generally, mainly one have their Mid-Term and End-Term Exams apart that they have quizzes, assignments and tutorials as well whose frequency varies according to the need of that particular course.

BCG,Axis Bank,Zepto,HUL,TCS and many such companies comes for internships in our campus. They majorly comes for SDE, Web development, Finance, Consultancy, PM roles. Projects are few a part of your courses and the rest you can do with the campus clubs and even on your own. You can even approach professors for the same as well.

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

In IIT Roorkee we have to pay our fees at the start of each semester which is around 1.5 lakhs. And if you belong to SC/ST then you will get tution fees discount which is huge. Regarding hostel fees, it's mandatory to live in hostel in IIT Roorkee and its fees is included in the semester fees only. Scholarship programs are their in our college for students scoring above 8+ CGPA. So you can opt for that too.

Thomso is the cultural fest and Cognizance is the technical fest of my college. Cognizance is scheduled in the first week of March and Thomso in the last week of October. The library in IIT Roorkee is one of the finest library of India with availability of all kinds of books related to journels, courses and researches as well. Coming to the sports section, IIT Roorkee has an excellent sports facility with high quality accessories and maintained courts, grounds for all outdoor as well as Indore sports. Their are many college clubs in the campus which increases students interest in co-curricular activities and help them follow their passion. Inter-IIT is a event that happens both for cultural as well as sports in which all IITs participate and compete making great bonding within different IITs as well.

IIT Roorkee comes on fifth position in the engineering colleges in India. This proves that it's one of the best institute in India for Bachelors in Technology. It has a huge alumni base. Has great minds boarded in the campus with nearly all opportunities open to explore and get involved in for college students to explore new things and follow their passion.

Faculties in IIT Roorkee is quite helpful and always interested in helping students in their problems related to academics and even non-academic problems as well. Each semester you have one Mid-Term Examination (MTE) and at the end of semester, one have End-Term Examination (ETE). The grading system is relative in nearly all courses.

We have around 15 hostels in the campus. And 2 canteens and a gym in each hostel. One is day canteen and other is night canteen giving access for canteen to the students 24 by 7. Library gets closed at 12 but you have study rooms in hostels as well in library where you can continue your work even in night. Famous places in the campus are the MNC Building, James Thomson Building, RKB Tapri, ECE Circle, SAC, MAC and the area outside campus is not that safe in night after 11. So I prefer to be in campus after that, especially for girls. Its not safe.
