Remarks

This college is soo good and the campus is awesome. The admission process is too easy. The main things are teaching are soo helpful and they are soo friendly. The main thing is a placement which is awesome so I love to refer this college and u will get an awesome student life

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become an electronics and communication engineer that's why I choose. Faculties are awesome and soo student-friendly as well as higher qualified. They teach us greatly. If we study things then no exam is gonna difficult.

Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are awesome. Many companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture are there to hire us. Many MNCs are available. 15 lakhs/annum. 90% of students got placed. I'm placed also.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is student-friendly. And Swami Vivekananda scholarship also available. All financial assistance is available. I got many scholarships from campus.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome. There are tech fest and cultural fest available also. The library is awesome. Maximum books are available in our library. We have digital classrooms also where projector and desktops are provided. Extra curricular are always going on. Gmitkolkata site is available

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
