I firstly googled about the college - it’s a campus, fee structure, admission process(online), courses, etc Admission process went on for 3 days depending upon the online procedure, it was merit-based percentage check. This college feels like home everything about this college is awesome, mentors, courses, opportunities, ambiance, events, feats everything. I would definitely recommend this college to all the girls who will find everything they wish a college should have, this is that college, Mount Carmel College, Autonomous. This college has so many opportunities to explore in and outside the class. We have campus recruitment from well-reputed companies with a good package and openings. We have great mentors and every day in this college feels like a celebration, every week for sure there are events or fest happening in college from different departments, the whole campus is so colourful all the time you enter. It’s in well-located place with good food lines out there.

I choose this course as it was associated with Tata Consultancy Services and we had the first preference towards the recruitment in TCS in the third year. Faculty was absolutely more in number because we had rush full candidates coming for admission. We had great faculty with the commerce department having more in number and also with other departments. Qualification was MCom, phd, NET, Kent, MSc and more. The teaching method was highly professional and easily understandable. We have one test for 30 marks and semester exam for 70 marks which was an advantage to score without any stress. We had presentations and mcq as well added along with the 30 marks paper. Not difficult to pass but not that easy to clear it depends on how hard we work towards the subject and clear it. We have supplementary exams happening for failures in the next alternative semester exam.

3rd year is when we are eligible to apply for campus recruitment we have to register with placement cell to keep updates on companies coming and apply accordingly. We had Goldman sacs, ICICI bank, Accenture, HDFC bank, Idea worldwide, etc and had good package starting from 1lac - 4lac Recruitment is open to all as it was our choice to which company we want to apply so there was no such percentage on applying for different profiles. I got through 2 placements but my family wasn’t ok with the location so I had my profile on Naukri.com and got 2 months assignment at yes bank and then for Amazon I worked for 1 year till now.

It was less compare to other colleges but also benefited us according to the fees hike but there were few things which we were not part of but still, the money was deducted. Jobs were provided from good companies with good reviews openings and the stipend was above 18k to 35k.

Cul-ah is the biggest of all feats in MCC known as the queen of fests which is for 2 days. We have different themes every year. We have celebrities coming on the last day of the fest, Dj parties in the evening, fashion walks, and participants from other colleges, Yummy food courts coming to the campus. We have gyms and Zumba and sports everything happening in college, in fact, we have paid courses into all these, the psychology department arranging Zumba workshops almost most of the times in the college it’s wonderful. We have basketball, ka Badi, NCC everything to take part in. This college is not only a college it’s our second home where you enter and never feel like going back because there is always high energy in the college with great good attitude girls in the college. We have different associations for talents to be a part of who are also given opportunities to perform in different colleges also and our college is never back without winning certifications and trophies.
