I took XAT and scored 97 percentile in the same. IMT ranks among the to institutes that has strong international collaborations with foreign universites. Infact a seperate student body called the International Relations Committee manages the student/faculty inbound/outbound exchange program, Short Term Exchange Program and Foreign Language classes. Every year more than 100 students go for exchange program from IMT and more than 80 students come for exchange programs in IMT( both Short Term and Long Term). Language classes are an integral part of the international exposure that students are subjected to which includes languages like Spanish, German,French and Chinese. The cost of long term exchange program ranges from INR 4-5 lakhs including everything depending upon the country a student is travelling to. The countries are USA. Mexico, France, Brazil, Greece, Australia. A few universities that IMT has tie up with includes University Paris Dauphine, Grenoble, IPADE, Neoma,University to San Diego.

Academics ay IMT are a crucial part of the entire curriculum and the entire MBA program is seggregated into 6 to 7 semesters depending upon the total number of credits per subject. The firdt year covers a major chunk of the program with 4 semesters whcih is mandatory and common for all the students. The second year is electives based in which a student can choose subjects as per his specialisation(HR,Finance, Marketing etc.) andfinish his credits in either 3 or 3 semesters. CGPA system is used for grading the students. The teaching methodology is case based where students are given real life case studies and the class discussions are centered around the cases. The grading is a cumalative score of the class participitation, group projects and end term exams. Professors are easily accessible outside classes and even help students with their research work and B-School Competitons.

The internships offered at IMT are exceptional and diversified in terms of work profiles. All sectors from FMCD, FMCG, IT, Pharma, Advertising, Telecom etc. come to offer varied job roles at IMT. The summer internship program is both Short Term( 2 months) and Long Term ( 5-6 months) that is offered at IMT. A good number of students end up getting pre placement offers/ pre placement interviews after their internship program. A seperate student body Alumini Relationshup Committee manages the enormous Alumini network that IMT has.

Everything at IMT is student managed with a total of 8 committees and 10 clubs operating within the premises. Passion is the annual management and cultural fest at IMT which expands over a span of 3 days with institutes all over India participating in the fest. Chakravyuh is the name of the Sports Fest that IMT hosts every year and is one of the flagship event of IMT. It is well known in the entire B- school faternity and witnessess the maximum footfall from various places across India with 72 hours of non stop sports.

The college Fee is INR 15 lakhs including tution fee, hostel and mess expenses. The institute also provides mahender nath memorial scholarship to students who do exceptionally well in their academics in the 1st year and also depending upon the financial situation of an individual. Many banks like SBI, HDFC and canara Bank provide education loans for studying at IT at reasonable interest rates.

The social atmosphere of the campus is diverse and toleratn with regards to all types of students with various religion, caste, economic status and coming from various regions across India. IMT is known for its parties which are organised by the Student Council of IMT.

The hostel accomodation has more than 600 students residing on the campus and 1st year boys residing outside the campus at IMT's CDL campus which is 2 kms away from the main campus and connected via 24*7 bus service provided by the institute. The accomodation has both single and double occupancy with 24*7 water supply and power backup. The food quality is also great and a seperate student body, Mess Committee manages the choice and quality of food throughout the year.
