Entrance Preview

I opted for CAT & scored 80%tile and IMT was the best I could have got. I am really satisfied with my decision.

Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur is a well renowned institute & the pedagogy, faculties, state of the art infrastructure every thing was just perfect.

Internships Opportunities

I was placed in Topsel Toyota in Kolkata and I ddnt have any internship stipend offered but it was a very rich learning experience for me. It was nicely organized internship.

Placement Experience

The placement of IMT Nagpur is going on improving year on year. Our previous batch had 80% placed whereas our batch had 98% placement and this year it can touch 100% anytime for our juniors.

College Events

There are lot of events celebrated in our campus by different forums & committees. Few of them are Finaholics, Marquepedia, Joy of Giving, Open House Discussion, Explore, Milestone, and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is little on a higher side, but seeing the facilities & food, you wont regret. Its hostel, food, Course everything is included in 11 lakhs for 2 yrs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship can be availed by the toppers in particular subject & overall in both the years of MBA. Loan facility can also be availed by the tieups they have with different banks.

Campus Life

Gender ratios is around 3:2 which is pretty good for any MBA college. The campus life is something you would always miss after you pass out. It will become one of the best phase of your life.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel & mess food is vary good compared to the other colleges. It offers unlimited food and the hostels are also well equipped with all the facilities includung water, wifi, etc. You also has canteen, Coop, & everything in the campus and its like a mini city.

We have a strong alumuni network & every year in major cities, we have a alumuni meet too. The seniour are also accessible anytime we need them through this network.

Exam Structure

After you get through CAT, you might think that you are a free bird now & will get your degree anyhow. But that is not the case here. If you don't study like you did for CAT, you might have to appear CAT again.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
