A must join college

This college was the best I could get from my rank in jee mains and also this was the college I wanted to join after top nits as it is near to my home town. The admission process is strictly based on the rank in jee mains and after that counseling in josaa which is generally conducted in July .exam are conducted twice one in January and the other one in April. This college was near my home town and its placement was one of the best and it can be compared by top nit's.

The reason for choosing this course was that I wanted to join govt jobs specifically PSUs and this course was the best for this purpose as there are more no of seats in govt sector than any other course. The faculties are good and they are very qualified .they are generally PhD holder and very much experienced. The teaching methods are very advanced as every class is equipped with the projectors and most of the subjects are taught by presentation in the projector. Exams are started after one month from the commencement of the session. Two quizzes are conducted, mid sem, and then end sem after two months from mid sem.every month has one exam.

Our college provides internship opportunities for every student at the end of the 3rd year. Different companies provide internship opportunities such as TATA STEEL, Microsoft, Amazon, and many more.

Placement commences from the 3rd year. Placement is very good for all the branches.CSE and IT branch have an excellent placement with an avg package of around 15lpa for CSE and It and around 10lpa for ECE branch and of about 8 LPA for mechanical, electrical. About 120+ companies visit the campus every year offering more than 500 offers to students. Some of the top companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, Tata Steel, IOCL, and many more. About 80%. Student gets placed in CSE,It ECE branches and 70-75% in EEE, mechanical and 50% in civil, chemical, etc. I wanted to do further studies or I will appear for gate exam etc

The fees are high if you compare it to other colleges. The fees also increase year by year by 20 to 25k.so the total fee would be about 1175000 for four years including the hostel fees. mess fees are charged separately which is around 15 to 17k for a semester. hostel fees are about 14-15k for a semester Scholarship are there per semester for students who score 8 to 10 SGPA Ranging from 25%to 100%. Placement commences from 3rd year and placement are excellent with an avg package of 10lpa and a median of about 8 LPA.

The campus is excellent full of greenery.campus is of about 780 acres of which 50%campis is covered with trees and plantations. There are many shops and outlets, cafes, stationery shops where a student can chill. The annual fest is conducted in the month of January named by BITOTSAV, also there are TECH FEST Conducted in the month of October named as PANTHEON. The libraries are well equipped and there are lot of books and journals for different courses and for different categories of students. Libraries are open all days in a week from 8 am to 8 pm. Every classroom is air-conditioned which can accommodate about 200 plus students. There are also sports facilities available such as long jump, badminton, football, etc. Except swimming. There are different clubs and societies which conduct different fest and they take Student on the basis of exam and interviews there are also technical clubs such as SRIJAN , AVEON RACING,

For every single year, different hostels are allotted to the students. In 1st year every student is allotted the same hostel, from second-year different hostel are allotted to different branch students. Rooms include a single bed, fan, and electricity facilities with a common bathroom. The mess is located on the ground floor of each hostel. Mess food is not bad, not good, it is ok. The menu is nutritious.
