My college journey

There are only two colleges, provides Bachelor in an automobile in west Bengal. This college is in my hometown, as I chose it. The management is very much worst. faculty is good for automobile, mechanical and basics mathematics. If someone has opinions to chose another college, must go for that. But for the automobile.

I had chosen an automobile due to a growing industry across India and I like mechanical things. The faculty of the automobile is good .there was 30 students in our batch, and the no of faculties are around 10-12.they are all helpful in the study only. #some of the faculties are brilliant on the theoretical study, on the other hands, some are more skillfully teach you the practicals and introduces you to a car. # the exams are conducted by MAKAUT. There is 1 or 2 cctv on each classrooms operated by the university during exam time,and 4-5 guards are roaming around the class during exam periods. Though there is no organizer or solved previous years questions,you have to cover the entire books. But if you prefer to built concept on the topics,your learning becomes easier. There are two semesters in each year and two internal mock tests in each semester.

Please don't ask about the placements. Hope you already get that.you will be forced to sit on its placement, though you are from mechanical, automobile or electrical and after a Bachelor you will be offered to join a company at 10-12 k salary. worst placement facilities. 20% of students get placed hardy a year.

Fees per semester lie between 47000- 45000. Apparently it seems low but comparing with the facilities it's too high. You will not get all books, insufficient sports budget . The account and management section is the worst part of this college before your admission college will call you several times and will asking your feedback, but if you once get admitted they hardly show interest to solve your problem. For mine, I did this Bachelor after diploma in automobile and worked at Hyundai workshop. But they didn't give me the NOC to continue my job with my college, though the job was financially needed for my family. So my personal recommendation is not to get admitted to this college.

The annual fest is conducted between March-April, and the tech fest is held just before the annual fest. There were an annual football and cricket tournament but you hardly get informed. due to the irregularities of the 7 a side football tournament, we started a futsal tournament but our college is too much irresponsible and discontinues the main tournament. And in spite of giving the sports development fees you have to pay again to enrol your team to the tournament( every sports activity).
