GMIT is a beautiful college situated just outskirts of Kolkata. College is surrounded by full of greenery and atmosphere of the college is very good. The Faculty members and the Administrative officers are very friendly and always ready to help . GMIT has many facilities such as mordern labs, Library, Canteen, Wi-Fi etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
From my childhood I am very qurious about Electric power and Electrical equipments, so I chosen this department. The faculty members are very good in nature and treats us like their own brothers . They always motivate us and cheer us for our future. Our all faculties are highly qulified and the exam process is very easy,
Internships Opportunities
GMIT offeres many Internships. They are mostly very good and one can learn from it very much about the industrial operations.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. Many renowned companies such as TCS, Flipkart,etc come to our college for placement. every year almost 75% students are got placed from this campus . One of our student is now taking a big role in Byju's company and got a salary of 10LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Though GMIT gives many facilities to the students but the fee structure is low compare to other colleges. It also gives a hostel facility which is one can easily acomodate . Our college give all the Goverment scholarships like Aikyashree,Swami Vivekananda scholarship etc. Our college also conduct a scholarship pogram called Bright Scholarship where students got some amount of scholarship for their future study
Campus Life
GMIT campus is totally Antiragging campus. The relation of the students are very good. Every year GMIT host a Tech fest, Cultural fest, where many bands such as Laxmichara , Fossils were performed. In the library most of all books are there . college also have smart classrooms . GMIT also host a interschool football cup called DKB Memorial cup every year where many teams from different schools come to parcipate.
