College that needs improvement in some important aspects

Checked out all the websites like Collegedunia to know more about college. During admission everything's awesome and everything went smoothly. Good aspect: (During admission) Nice and easy to understand the setup Good and clean campus Supportive staff Bad aspect : (cons) Huge network issue and really irritating to see that there is no network even if we stand out of college building

The faculty here is quite highly qualified and really supportive when it comes to studying or any study-related activities. But as you move towards co-curricular activities in the college you can see the support from some of the staff fading away. In the class of 60 students, 4 teachers are allotted as the Guardian or class teacher i.e 1:15 will be the faculty to student ratio but when u see from the faculty point of view... They have students from the second year, third year, and sometimes the fourth year too. So the faculty to student ratio for overall college raises to 1:45. The term exams are conducted smoothly without any issue and the campus is student-friendly with a variety of options to sit before exams. So u can study at the library or at the lawn or simply at the resting benches at the corner of the lawn

Campus placement are really a weak point for college to be frank. They need more and more companies to invite to visit college and pick up students. The training and placement cell helps you a lot to gain the attention of companies and are also trying to bring in a maximum of companies for campus interviews and I appreciate this fact. And it's not like that training and placement cell helps only 4th year students.... They help all the guys from third year as well. I was thinking to rate the placement of college at 6 but a extra 2 star just bcoz of effort of the TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL

There is no hike in fees for the three or your years u are in college (depending on your course) But they really force you a lot for the payment of fees on time. Also the scholarship section in college needs improvement bcoz when students gather for submission of forms then it gets really crowded out there.

Talking of social life in college I expected more than what's present now in college. As I explored co-curricular activities within the college and moved on i came closer to reality. A reality of college where the days celebrations were bit mismanaged which is a important part of college life. Also had lots issue with the sports activities such as a not-so-good or a badly maintained college sports ground, unavailability of proper equipment and a huge amount of negligence towards sports. Other activities like cultural club or any technical club is present only for name sake and I belive it needs a fresh start with the intrest of students and support of staff. The annual fest is named as CRESTA and it's is conducted usually in January and which is quite awesome.
