Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus of TU is very much good, when compared to most curriculum of other colleges. A lot of focus on marks obtained in the exam is there, and the exams are announced timely. The results are also on time, and evaluation is fair. The course is good. The process is always very transparent and we are made part of the process.
Placement Experience
Some courses have placements but many courses do not have placements. There is an occasional Job Fair organised but the professors usually keep up to date with any recruitments that are happening and let us know.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is extremely cheap and affordable. It is one of the lowest in the world, with anyone able to afford higher education making it extremely accessible for everyone regardless of class and caste. The fees for one year is only Rs. 2230 now, earlier is was even lesser.
Campus Life
Several Extracurricular activities are celebrated. Many different cultural clubs are in the college such as drama club, literature club, etc and they are always accepting more and more students. There are other activities as well and it is always a fun thing. The NSS and NCC are also quite active, along with some other student unions.
Admission
There is registration process for admission. Once registration is done, there is the submission of documents. Admission is confirmed on the basis of the basic eligibility criteria that is 10+12 and the marks obtained in the same, and a point system is there so as to ensure transparency. The list is put up and the committee's decision is final.
Faculty
The college faculty has a large number of associate professors and the student-teacher ratio is quite good. he faculty in general is very good. They are all well qualified professionals who are always at their heels and ready to assist you whenever you require. Many of them have PhD's and the college hires only on the basis of UGC's regulations.
