Course Curriculum Overview
TU is one of the best Public institutions in the country. The curriculum is as well, and it also keeps in mind the cultural and other factors in consideration. The course curriculum has ample focus on research and there is a dissertation as well.
Placement Experience
There are no placements as such. You can do internships, but you have to find them on your own. The professors are of great help as they do at times help with the applications, resume building and such.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Thiruvalluvar University - [TU] has one of the most affordable fee structures in the country. The entire fee for the full year is just Rs. 1,555 and for both the years is 3,110 Rupees. This includes all kinds of registrations fees as well.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is okay and interaction is not restricted. Sports events are also held frequently and students are allowed to participate in teams and go for competitions. Sports like Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, etc are played and students often go to state level, etc. NSS and NCC are also quite active. The NSS registration is included in the fees.
Admission
Admission process is entirely offline. You have to submit all the necessary documents and the university will issue an admit card. Once it is administered, you have to wait for the announcement.The process is very transparent.
Faculty
The faculty is excellent on average. Some professors are very good and they are amazing at teaching. They faculty is always up to date with the latest happenings in their subjects and are always encouraging us to do the same. Some professors are just okay.
