Course Curriculum Overview

The first semester is very basic among all the eight semesters. It consists of basic subjects of 10+2 level in the first year like physics, chemistry and maths. Labs for physics and chemistry is also in the course. They teach subjects basic subjects in the first year, among all the engineering students.

Placement Experience

The placement cell has an excellent record of students get placed, and so many reputed companies and big companies like reliance, cisco, Infosys, etc are interested in hiring our college students, and almost every student got great placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In the first year I paid ?90,000 and the same I have to pay for every year. So the total that I have to pay for this course is ?3.6 LAKHS, which quite similar as compared with colleges, and I think it is not feasible, and everyone can not afford it.

Campus Life

The cultural event which are held in our college is quite innovative and it help us to improve our skills and there are so many events like speeching competition and writing competition are help to improve our writing as well as speeching skills.

Admission

Students who are seeking for admission in B.Tech Program should meet the eligibility criteria as 10+2 examination with 45% marks for the general category with 40% marks for SC/ST category. The 40% and 45% criteria is on the based on PCM marks.

All teachers are so much devoted towards their work and Interactive with all the students. They are engaging and teach us very well in their on field. They are awesome and guide us in a unique and different manner.

Student become eligible form 7th semesters, Companies like Amazon, DeShaw, SalesForce, Deloitte, etc visit here and they respectively take a good number of students. Highest package was 80 LPA by DeShaw and average package is around 13 to 15 LPA 93 % students are placed I am also planning to sit in the placements and going in the development feild

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
