Remarks

some of the good aspect are the insfracture ,faculty and average placement of this.Bad aspect is the canteen which not of a very good quality,but by price it is really price worthy.Any one ,who has 45% in his board is eligible for the course.The college really has a good atmosphere and heathy infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as i am interested in studying artifical technology.Teacher are really well qualified ,most of them hold a M-tech degree and are graduated from renowned university like jadavpur universty,NIT's etc.Exam were held after every six months as semister and marks are given on university basis.

Companies like TCS,capgemini,RS software visit our campus.Highest salary package which a student get is 10 LPA, lowest package 1.8LPA and average pakage for a student is 2LPA.78% percent got placed in dynamic E-Commerce companies like FLIPKART,BASETTI,etc. After completing the degree,i am planning to get a job in a good IT industry.

GMIT is famous for organising fest through out the whole baruipur religion with the inclusion of band like fossil,bhumi.GMIT library has a wide varirty of books for campus students. yoga,quiz,and science exhibition are the main attraction of campus.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
