SSUHS always look onto the betterment of the students. All faculty and heads of the department are doing their best with great sincere. And many new programmes are added to the brochure. The college infrastructure is also one main facility to be noted about. The students are highly benefitted through the job and placement opportunity which brings success in their career lives.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is good. More practical knowledge can be gained through this course structure. The structure differs in different departments. There Elective course for us in our college where we are given freedom to choose our own subject course for study. Elective course system is one of the best feature in our college. It fulfils students and teachers desire.
Placement Experience
There are placement cells in our college. Final year students can attend these classes to be benefited. Many reputed companies and MNCs recruit from our college. It?s mandatory for all students to go for internship programmes. College provides many training programmes for Fresher to improve their skills ad to adapt the college atmosphere.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Comparing other college in Guwahati our college is connected to land communication and airways. Fees structure differs between courses. Almost every people will be able to pay. Fees are collected semester wise so there will be no need to pay any amount in full which will be difficult for most of the people. Our college aim is education to everyone so college offers many schemes for financially backward students.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers many schemes to different categories in partnership with institutions. Sports scholarship is available for every sports student. The schemes for different categories are SC, ST, OBC etc. Students must keep track on these scholarship programmes. Many students are benefited through these schemes
Campus Life
Our college gives equal importance to activities. They take us Industrial visit once in a year or two. Sports Celebrations are celebrated like festivals in our college. By conducting the celebration it boosts enthusiasm in students. Common festivals are celebrated with fun. College and union members take great effort to smile on students face.
Admission
Application forms are available online and offline. I applied offline. The procedure is we have to buy an application form which costs from 330-1200 depending upon the courses you choose. after submission of the form entrance exam was conducted. I passed the entrance exam with 73%. On clearing the Exam, I was called for interview then after few weeks I received my admission letter through mail.
Faculty
Our teachers are the finest and qualified teachers. They do justice to their work. Most of them are selfless in teaching others. They treat all students as one. Partiality between students is not encouraged among the faculty. Our teachers are always ready to clear all our doubts. They support freshers in all respects. They are always updated and keep updating us.
