Nayan's Review On Indian Institute Of Information Technology - [IIIT], Surat

We will learn data structure and algorithm, engineering mechanics, engineering physics, computer architecture, compute network, OS, system software, software engineering, computer graphics, etc.,With 7 electives. Course curriculum is well managed and is of good standard, we have practical, internal and written examination in every semester. Computer lab, software lab sessions are good.

There will be good placement in future as it started course in 2017 only, it's ranked at 80, and among 20 IIITs started, so there is good opportunity waiting in future an when the first batch completed graduation. Internships are not provided till now but they encourage to use summer holidays.

My tution fee is 67500 for one semester and yearly 135000 for tution fee. Exam and library fee of 3000, alumni fee 8000 one time, convocation fee one time 2500, development fee 8000, total of approximately 565000 for the whole course.

There are few extracurricular activities but they are being improved, we celebrate cultural events, festivals, sports, national events, important days, social activities, projects seminars, quiz, etc are held to enhance and develop the skills of a candidate. There are no cultural societies or any groups among students. Lab's are well managed and are equipped with modern equipments.

There is seperate hostel for both boys and girls, currently using the SVNIT hostel. For boys it is 5800 for hostel amenities fund, 16500 mess advance per semester, total of 22300. With that hostel rent 4000(double seated), electricity charge 6000, students activity fund 400, catious deposit 2500, at total of 35200. For girls also the charges are same except hostel rent 7000(single seated), electricity charge 6800.

Admission in this institution is given based on JEE mains examination. I wrote JEE mains, with that score i appeared for JoSAA, on basis of clearing the cut off I was given admission in this college after counseling. This is one of the 20 colleges started and is next to IIT,NIT. There is good scope and education under such institutions. One should have 75% in 12 th for general and 65% for sc/st. Minimum age of 17 years, with PCM subjects.

We have faculties from various educational institutions with experience in teaching, they are from various good institutes and hold assistant professor and lecturer ranks with good subject knowledge, they are very helpful and solve our problems at various instance and guide us about opportunities available.
