Course Curriculum Overview
I had opted for MBBS course in this college. It also offers various courses. Course duration of MBBS is four and half years plus one year compulsory rotating Internship as approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Kerala University and is in line with the directives of the Medical Council of India.
Placement Experience
The College offers the best placements to the students. The College also provides internship to the students which is paid and unpaid also. Every year various companies hire students from our college. Our students make the college proud by getting selected in India's top companies. It is also a proud moment for the companies to hire students from our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As I've opted for MBBS course I had to pay 12.75lacs as an academic fee. Similarly different courses have different fee structure. Fee structure varies from the availability of lab facilities also. Though the fee is quite expensive but the College offers various scholarships based on the merits of the students.
Campus Life
The College conducts various extra curricular activities for the students. They conduct seminars, webinars, workshops and conferences for the students and the faculties also. They discuss on the current affairs to keep students active and updated.
Admission
Travancore Medical College is the flagship endeavor of pioneers in the society. For the admission in this college I submitted my 10+2 results where I scored 70% and the minimum percentage required is 60% in physics chemistry and biology. I also submitted my Adhar card Xerox and my passport size photographs. As I've applied for MBBS course I also had to submit my NEET exam results.
Faculty
The faculties are always supportive towards the students. They always encourage them to do better. They follow student centred learning process. The make use of different teaching styles for the students. They believe that learning happens at every step. They are highly qualified faculties and never show any bias towards the students.
