The department of mechanical engineering is pioneer in R&D activities in this zone. The key areas of Research were Composite materials, Alternative fuels and Welding. The course is developed with industry standard. Semester system is followed.

During our final year, we had some placements in various fields, i.e. both professional and BPO. In my set, we had a placement of 87% but less than 5% of the people went to the job got via placement. The minimum salary is Rs. 1,00,000/annum and the maximum salary is Rs. 4,50,000/annum (off-campus).

The fees is with all the other universities. It is 2l which moderate when you the amount of knowledge you get here. the campus is build perfectly. The hostel and mess is not included in this. The fees may vary on basis of admission category.

The college is having an IIT remote center which is approved by IIT Mumbai. College provides a good library where every student are provided with 4 cards and a unique login id. The library will be at open till 7:00 PM. College provides good support to sports and it ranks 2nd at Anna University level.

Hostel celebrates almost all festivals celebrated across the country such as Independence day, holi, diwali, lakshmi, saraswathi and ganesha festivals etc. Every year hostel day showcases not only organizational abilities, but also active participation of all the hostelites in recreational, cultural, literary and social activities of the hostelites, who hail from various parts of the globe.

To get into this college was very fortunate. To get into this one has to get 45% in Maths, Physics and Chemistry put together. The college promote academic, research, consultancy and innovation leading to research publications and patents team up with pioneer industries.

Most of the teachers here just completed their master's and jumped to teaching. Sometimes, we had PPT slide show and some seminars. The student-faculty ratio is 30:1. Some people got the opportunity of industrial exposure in UTL Technology Pvt Ltd.
