Remarks

Almost 75% students get placed from our college. The highest salary package offered was 8LPA,and the lowest Salary package offered was 1LPA. Almost 80% of the students got internship from this college. the physical design of the campus consisting of landscape gardens and horizontal architecture blends organically into its surroundings. GMIT has already roped in international collaboration to facilitate in class real-time learning is in advanced technology Allo with exposure to global trends in industries. Our college has a football playground.the college has a language lab which provides good communication for the students our college is free Wi-Fi campus. Also have medical facilities. We have the best faculty .teachers are helpful,frank. all the teachers and seniors in our college or very helpful and concerned about our studies. They are well qualified and experienced. being a Bengali medium student they support and help us with English learning. Attractive scholarship also provided.

Beside readings they offers us various online courses. being a Bengali medium student ,they support and help us with English learning. Teachers said to be updated about industrial news from time to time .

Capgemini, byjus ,star cement ,PS group, RS software , Bassetto group , ACC cement and TCS visit our campus for recruitment. Almost 80% of the students got internship from our college.

Campus Life

the college organised college festival every year for two or three days .Besides College fest college celebrate many festival like Holi raksha Bandhan Saraswati Puja etc. I enjoy those moments terribly.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I feel proud being a student of Gmit

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
